My wife and I have three children, all under 7, which makes having sex challenging. My question is, how often do you and your SO engage in the act, what time of the day,where) and does it always involve intercourse?

We have four kids under seven. Don't your kids ever sleep? Ours do, thank goodness. Install a lock on the bedroom door, make sure no one can see UNDER it or through a keyhole, etc (you'd have to worry about that only in a very old house, or course) and get a small stereo for cover noise. Get creative! Set that alarm and get up an hour early. you'll be in a great mood all day.

Also, a bunch of little kids make for a lot of work. Make sure you are doing your share, so your partner is not too tired to find time in the sack.

(I apologize for declining to answer some of your questions, but I think this should cover what you're really asking. How often anyone does it is a personal preference issue. But my point is that you can certainly do it every day if you both work towards that as a goal. I urge you to consider housework as foreplay, it's an amazing tool to get a lot of mothers in the mood for other things!!!!)

if you already have three children under 7 perhaps you should abstain for awhile - you certaintly wouldnt want four children under 7 ;-)

i agree that making sure you help your spouse with all of the house and kid chores will certainly make her feel more bonded to you in a "we are in this together" and thus she will more comfortable and less stressed and the time will be found when the moment is right.

treat her to a spa day - facial, massage, pedicure and manicure while you watch the kids ... when she gets home she will feel sexier and need to show off her newly spa refreshened skin.

As I mentioned in the other thread, May 2, 3, and 4 are out for me for sure. But, I'm not especially looking for plants, just trying to find good homes for all my extras (I don't ever thin, it's a waste of seed if I could otherwise find someone to take the starts.) So, if I don't make it, and somebody wants something of mine I'm sure we could find a way some other time.

It doesn't take an Italianate villa to have real plaster walls--just an old house that hasn't been remodelled to death. My 1939 federal style townhouse had plaster, my 1954 cape cod had plaster board (weird in between plaster and drywall) and my 1926 French revival has plaster. I think a suble plaster faux painting would work nicely on plaster walls. It seems like it would make any "flaws" more like a feature. But more importantly you like it! So I would definitely do it again.

Parkland is very good, another good site is Dutch Girl Peonies. I will say we did operate a peony farm for 18 years, we just closed this season and are focussing on selling cut flowers rather than roots. Make sure when you are ordering peony roots that they have at least 3 to 5 eyes, many times they are sold with only one or two and they do not indicate that in their catalogue. There is a big difference in the size and quality of a 1-2 eye root and a 3-5 eye root. Although you can be successful with the smaller root it can take up to 4 years for the smaller one to flower, depending on the variety and the quality of storage conditions it was subject to. The root is what the peony uses to live until established, a small root may not have enough stored energy to sustain it until it grows new feeder roots. Peonies are best planted in the fall when the roots are dormant. The feeder roots develop in cooler soil and they begin growing so early in the spring that digging, shipping and planting in warm or hot conditions can set them back or result in outright death. That is why most peony growers and breeders will only sell in the fall. There are simply hundreds of peony plants, the best website to research if the one you like has major problems is Carsten Burkhardt's peony project-- www. paeon.de.
