Hippy is correct, I'm talking RVs here for folks who don't wrench their own. Your Silverado has a great Allison transmission that's the gold standard, IMHO. There's a hill of difference in labor between an auto or truck and an RV with an engine in it. The Left Coast is very mountainous and it gets old fast to be on an incline pulling your boat/quads/trailer/horses at 45 and be passed by a DuraMax doing 75. And you'll wish you were getting 12 mpg pulling that horse trailer at 45. The current GMC engines are 200,000 mile designs (Sierra, Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon) and the diesels (DuraMax) are 500,000 mile designs. Teardrops will have lower height which will pay off in mileage and many nicer campsites will be an option, where the truck campers (popups and crankups excluded here) will be scraping a few branches or down in the meadow. Of course, it's easier to back up a truck camper so there's a world of options out there. I've sold a ton of GMC trucks and as a Ford man let me say they're hard to beat.

Message: I have a chain saw model #358-350600 Craftsman 18 in. / 42cc bought the saw about 2002 used it satisfactorily for some time and it does not have many hours on it, however in cutings some trees in the yard in about 2008 it quit for no apparent reason an it has not cranked since, I have had local shops to work on it, fuel lines have been redone,carb. replaced with new, it has good spark (blue) still not even a pop using starter fluid. I have search the web for help and I see some others having the same problem as myself. I went to the Sears shop but for them to check it out was almost as much as a new saw and I noticed while I was there they had lots of the 18in 42cc saw on the shelf that had been reconditioned, but I still can't find where Sears is giving us a solution for this problem and why so many are having the( will not crank problem). Does it have a printed circuit board that we can't find. I can buy a new saw but that does not fix this one. Can you give me some help, I have a problem with a motor that looks as good as this will not run and it is still in the original box. Thanks Herman Hill

I have an electric Heating/AC unit in a mobile home. The heater keeps cycling on and off in auto, and the blower won't kick on. Blower works when unit is switched to fan or cool. Motor is two month old. I'm guessing there must be a sensor of some sort that isn't working or maybe I screwed up the wiring, but no idea what to look for or how to test this theory. Any advice??

Hi, Holly. While the plant might be happy in a riparian setting where it naturally occurs, pots change things because water behaves differently in pots than it does in the landscape. An understanding of this idea is a critical part of becoming reliably proficient at growing things in pots, so ask if you have any interest in all. Undoubtedly, you're over-watering. I've never seen a peace lily from the final point of sale that was in a medium which would allow the grower to water when only the top 2 inches of soil were dry. Here's what's happening: When the top couple of inches of soil is dry, the soil closer to the bottom of the pot is still very wet. This means there is not enough air in the soil toward bottom of the pot to support normal root function. Since a healthy root system is a prerequisite to a healthy plant, the plant suffers and looks shabby. As the soil drys down a bit and the volume of air increases, normal root function can resume. When you water too soon, the smaller roots die from hypoxia (lack of air). So, just as your plant is reaching the break-even point (where it is making at least as much energy [by way of photosynthesis] as it's using), the roots are inundated again. This causes a continuous cycle of roots dying then regenerating when conditions in the root zone allow normal function of roots. Root growth always precedes top growth, and the plant's chemical messengers "tell" the plant when there are enough roots to provide water and nutrients to fuel top growth. While roots are regenerating, top growth is stalled or severely curtailed, so you can see how important plenty of air in the root zone is to plants. I don't know how interested you are in learning more, but what happens below the soil line is absolutely critical to the plant's well being. This might also be helpful. Al
