Heloflyer, I'm an avid fan of the Mantis, having had and used extensively the 2-cycle Echo powered one for the past 5 years. They're great. No way would I part with it. (my wife would shoot me if I did! ~grin~) This thing has been totally reliable, with only an occasional air filter and plug change. I've done some jobs for a neighbor, and he finally decided he needed a "mini-tiller", too. Unfortunately, he got talked into the Honda brand...he's so sorry now...they don't do the same job. The patented tine design of the Mantis, plus the Echo performance make all the difference in the world. Contrary to a comment made above, you don't need extra weight to have these little guys do their job. You'll be amazed at what you can do....including tearing up sod in previously un-tilled areas like a flower bed, or whatever. I do own and use a big tiller for the major garden area, but still would never part with my Mantis. One option I would recommend you buy is the "kickstand". Hippy is correct, I'm talking RVs here for folks who don't wrench their own. Your Silverado has a great Allison transmission that's the gold standard, IMHO. There's a hill of difference in labor between an auto or truck and an RV with an engine in it. The Left Coast is very mountainous and it gets old fast to be on an incline pulling your boat/quads/trailer/horses at 45 and be passed by a DuraMax doing 75. And you'll wish you were getting 12 mpg pulling that horse trailer at 45. The current GMC engines are 200,000 mile designs (Sierra, Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon) and the diesels (DuraMax) are 500,000 mile designs. Teardrops will have lower height which will pay off in mileage and many nicer campsites will be an option, where the truck campers (popups and crankups excluded here) will be scraping a few branches or down in the meadow. Of course, it's easier to back up a truck camper so there's a world of options out there. I've sold a ton of GMC trucks and as a Ford man let me say they're hard to beat.

I have an electric Heating/AC unit in a mobile home. The heater keeps cycling on and off in auto, and the blower won't kick on. Blower works when unit is switched to fan or cool. Motor is two month old. I'm guessing there must be a sensor of some sort that isn't working or maybe I screwed up the wiring, but no idea what to look for or how to test this theory. Any advice??

I missed seeing your reply until now. Serial number indicates manufacture in the 14th week (3/31 - 4/4) of 2003. The spring I'm referencing is #15 on the Machine Base diagram. One end anchors to the bracket, the other hooks into a hole in the base rail. The replacement package includes three springs. This spring at the back counterbalances the weight of the motor at the front, and the required tension varies depending whether the motor is 1, 2, or 3-speed (more speeds = heavier motor). Match the color of a bit of paint smeared on the spring to the color of stripes on the motor. Yours is probably 3-speed, which is the green spring. It's accessible from the left side by removing the machine's outer cabinet. You can find instructions online how to do that, including videos on YouTube. All this being said, and the tub sitting askew being a good indication, your problem may or may not be this spring.
