Hi I am posting the pictures and I hope I do this right. I just wish I had taken more pictures at Connie's, but it started to rain. I know others took pictures so I hope more will post as I totaly forgot to take pictures of her fantastic front yard rose beds. Enjoy Liz Here is a link that might be useful: Memorial Day Open Houses in Virginia

We will get a chance to hear Connie talk about this cemetery at the upcoming HRF conference in Lakeland, FL, Nov 14-17. I'm hopeful that Dr. Manners will have the registration info available very soon - the prices are a bargain, it will be a chance to see the new garden that Stephen Scanniello has designed for Florida Southern College, and the other speakers should be very good. I was at the MHS meeting last spring when the book was released. Mark went into the details of printing and assembling a book and signed copies for the dozens of people waiting. While it is a huge book, Mark does not necessarily have a huge printing/binding vendor. I was very impressed by his photo slides of the printing/cuttting/assembling and binding of the books. Who would think??? I am glad (and not surprised) that your books will be replaced if pages are missing. Mark and the printing vendor tried to put out a quality product - and for most of us they succeeded.

Bad news Charles, I clicked the photo and still wasn't able to see it. Good news, I went into your flickr site and saw it and your other lovely orchids. you grow them so well, I've always enjoyed your cyms over the years. Your mounted laelia is also gorgeous. Your sister must have been very lovely to get such an elegant orchid named after her.
