I never did try that cream i feel like everything i try i get a kind of honeymoon period with it ive had a terrible time with the sweats lately they seem to come back with a vengence very uncomfortable being soooo hot all day and night it brings me to tears sometimes im sick of showering 3 times a day ive ended up back on the hrt but even stronger than the last lot ,my duvet is on and off all night every night ive bin in this world now for 3 yrs and its driving me crazy im on blood pressure pills hrt inhalers i think im keeping the chemist in business anyway im off to turkey in 3 weeks ill be having me 48th birthday there i always go for my birthday they dont half make a fuss of me its great they get me a cake and balloons and all its great fun the thaught of that cheers me up for once i cannot wait to hit the airport im very excited already i have had such a rough year already my son and his girlfriend are coming with us this time and he is going to propose to her aww and my daughter katie is expecting her first baby girl in august so im chuffed about that its about time shes 28 ha ha anyway take care keep your chin up and come on for a chat i love to hear from you xxxs shelly.

pleblanc, I know you posted this a while ago but I have just read it and wondered if you got the itching and skin dryness sorted. I have had exactly the same symptoms as you only on the soles of my feet which makes even standing up some days excrutiating. I have been near to tears on a couple of occassions recently. Mine started two years ago out of the blue and I thought it might be menopause related as I had some severe hot flashes start at the same time. My doctor doesn't think so and has been prescribing creams for Pompholyx excema. I am finally seeing a dermatologist next month so we shall see what happens. I also for a few months have had the vaginal and rectal itching. I thought it was thrush but I have no other symptoms. I have been using canesten cream which gives me relief. I find it worse during the night which could be related to feeling hot. Finally, I also get the joint pain deep in my right hip if I lie on it too long and it also wakes me during the night. I would say all my menopause symptoms started about 8 years ago but in the last 2 years it has been constant and I have been trying everything I possibly can to help myself. I am of the belief that if these problems happened to men there would be specialists in every major city in every part of the world. Unfortunately because it is the other half of the population, Drs with a special interest are few and far between. P.S I tried HRT but had a horrendous migraine which was really scary-thought I was having a stroke-and my doc took me off them immediately. My BP and cholesterol were also sky high. Sorry this is so long but wanted to let you know you're not alone.

Estroven is for the most part soy and vitamins. Soy beans have natural plant estrogen and do help with menopause symptoms. It seems to me if you drank soy milk and took vitamin B12, Calcium and Vitamin D you would be getting just about the same benifit as the Estroven. Soy as I said has plant estrogen, Vitamin B 12 is the stress vitamin. The Calcium and Vitamin D are for bone loss which occurs as we get older, which are by the way among the cheapest vitamins there are When I was going through menopause I drank soy milk--the nicest tasting one I found to be chocolate-- and found it helped with hot flashes and things

Hi noopy9 so sorry to hear about your post op problems i too had a full hysterectomy at 30 im 46 now i have 1 ovary i started with menopausal symptoms last year ive had 3 blood tests done nd they all come back normal if this puts your mind at ease i started with mad heart palps last sept thasught i was having a heart attack ,heart disease or something went to the emergency room got am ecg, nothing wrong with my ticker was having mad palps at the time it was done then i started with full blown panic attacks , restless leg syndrome , hot flushes which have gotten much more intense in the last 3 months , went to see my doc , offered me HRT i said no thanku ill cope did loads of research on perimenopause and have tried everything i can think of to try to alleviate the symptoms the worst ones being palps ,magnesium n calcium tab lets have helped with this 1 a day, estroven 1 a day helps with flushes and sage tablets 2 a day thats about where im at at moment i know what you mean about that not with it feeling i get that almost every day total fatigue as well i just give in to it instead of trying to fight it good some days not so good some days good but the magnesium really does stop the palps but can make your bowels loose i dont care about that as long as i stop the dreaded palps hope this helps keep writing im here ok good luck
