We're looking forward to it. Hope they have some interesting people this time. Brazil is going to be a nice change, I think.

Sushi, there is no link to the recap. I find it amazing that after this many seasons of Survivor, certain things are still occurring. Showmances, big no no. Target on your back. Telling other people you have the idol. (And talk about stupid-not hiding the idol!) And lazy, bossy people. Natalie, the big older woman on the goliath team is a prime example. She is confrontational, lazy, and certainly not self-aware although she thinks she is. I couldn't believe her reaction when her team mate tried to give her some friendly advice. I was wishing the Goliaths would lose (for more reasons that just this) and get rid of her. But I agree, great tribal and great blindside. She had no clue it would be her.

Finally watched the 2nd half last night. I was glad to see the Godfather get blind sided... always like a good blindside! lol I think the remaining casts are a lot better physically matched now that the big guys are all out. Gabby bugs me - always crying over something stupid. Carl didn't talk to me wah wah wah. There's Christian comforting her and making sure she is ok. And the previews showing she wants to get him out? OMG! That made me so mad! What a traitor. I always like when a STRONG player wins - the ones who ride coattails and get to the end make me so mad. Gabby would be one of those. I hope her plan gets back to Christian and backfires on her!

After the first episode, our family was discussing how much more interesting it would be if each of the players voted off, that wanted to continue, got an individual beach of solitude. The odd ending on this one, makes me double wonder if there would be no Reem meetup, even if Keith chooses to continue. But probably not.... I'm probably just trying to drum up my own interest in a season I find distasteful due to the four returning players. I hate partial returnees, because it throws everything out of balance, editing wise and fairness wise. And it eliminates one of my favorite things about the early game--getting to know the new players.

Keith should have just gone home. He is too immature and soft for this game. I understand if you can't swim, but he's freaking 19 years old and couldn't climb that fence without help. When they were pulling that snake under the obstacle he literally was rolling in the sand beside it, doing nothing! I'm starting to wonder if that little girl knows exactly what she's doing. Making herself unlikeable, a villian already. They'll keep her because of that! I really wish Wentworth would go. I like Joe, and David also, but I wouldn't keep any of the returns. That guy hung himself. Should have kept his mouth shut. So far I am not a fan of Wardog. So our family has made their selections. Daughter Amanda picked Rick DH Randy picked Gavin Son Nick picked Lauren Son-in-law Nick picked Wentworth!!!!! I (Kathy) picked Eric.

Yippee! I'm ready! There's always someone who starts out the first episode as bossy, knowing everything, telling everyone what to do. Notice how long people like that usually last? ;-) Either that person or the pollyanna who insists on singing or having an annoying laugh or something like that.

I am house cleaning for the survivor tribe that comes over every Thursday and eats dinner. Dinner is always on us, BYOB, and you are NOT allowed to talk or call us on the phone during survivor. LOL

I haven't watched Survivor in YEARS! I watched the first few seasons faithfully, but haven't had time the past few years. I think I'll book Claude to keep the kids every Thursday at 8:00. :)
