Thanks, both. But I also don't mind that Trancegemini expressed her/his disappointment. It was said politely, and admitted responsibility for opening the thread. This is only my second round of Survivor threads here (barring a possibly fly by, years ago), however, so I wanted to make sure what the rules were. I'm glad that's been aired, and hope Trancegemini comes back after watching the episode. There was the third installment of a popular movie series that everybody was waiting for, before "spoilers" was even a common word. I walked out of rooms not to hear, and avoided all the press and hype, and went to see it the first weekend. I thought it was great! Most of the reviews said it was middling, and most of the people thought it was weak. Spoilerproofing it was definitely the way to go. I didn't know what was going to happen, so the plotting of the chase scene was exciting, for instance. It was all new to me, so the story held together much better, and I could enjoy the visuals so much more. I have sympathy for not wanting spoilers. :) SO, what did you all think of the game last night? What do you think of them giving so much good stuff to two tribes, and marooning the third one? That's Survivor, but is it fair? Are they allowed to raid each others' camps? They did way early on and I haven't seen it since, so I'm guessing (but don't know the backstories like Sushipup) that it's against the rules. I get it that they're already tired, but why didn't they make a decent camp? Surely they must know that fed, watered, and dry are the most important things for winning challenges? Keeping the rain off is vital! What do you think about repeating classic challenges? I wonder if down the road it's going to be a test of not who can come up with a winning strategy on exhaustion and hunger, but who can remember one. :)

Sushi, there is no link to the recap. I find it amazing that after this many seasons of Survivor, certain things are still occurring. Showmances, big no no. Target on your back. Telling other people you have the idol. (And talk about stupid-not hiding the idol!) And lazy, bossy people. Natalie, the big older woman on the goliath team is a prime example. She is confrontational, lazy, and certainly not self-aware although she thinks she is. I couldn't believe her reaction when her team mate tried to give her some friendly advice. I was wishing the Goliaths would lose (for more reasons that just this) and get rid of her. But I agree, great tribal and great blindside. She had no clue it would be her.

I was SO disappointed in that vote! I actually felt bad for Jeremy because he kept saying he didn't want to be voted off first. Natalie is beyond annoying. Why are they swapping teams already? I thought they usually did that if the teams start to become too lopsided. Right now the Davids are down 2 and Goliaths 1. I'd like to see them stay together a little longer. I hope whatever team Natalie ends up on that she does what she said she wouldn't do - team up with the Davids. I'm liking the wrestler guy - he's cute and he seems like he's a nice guy. He seemed pretty arrogant in the beginning but seems to have calmed down some. I have no winner preference yet though. Too many players that I have no clue who they are. I agree - 2 challenges would be much more interesting. Wonder why they stopped doing that?

I couldn't even finish the EW interview with Natalie, oh heavens, the whole world was against her and she was only trying to teach people how to do things, and Jeremy hurt her on purpose and her back hurt the whole time (at least while Jeremy was there) and she was just portrayed so wrongly. That's exactly why no one wanted to play with her, she sat on her tush the whole time and blames everyone else for everything. Yikes, I wanted to feel a tiny bit of sympathy for her but I don't think so, she's way too deflective.
