Gabe, Levi, Aunt Syd., and Gramma pics

Okay we tried to get Levi to coroprate for pics last night...yeah right...that is like getting Tanner and Dylan to take pics.....so anyways Syd did get one of me giving him love when Gabe hurt his feelings...and she snapped one of him smiling while he was trying to hide under the covers....

Of course Gabe is like Auntie......so got all kinds of her....if you notice a little makeup on her it is only becuase her and Auntie were playing.....

And the girls making silly faces for the camera!

22 is probably the number of breaths he is getting per minute. Or it could be the amount of Oxygen he is on which would be very little since 21 is what we are breathing and you can go up to 100% oxygen so my guess it is the breaths per minute on the ventilator. What we would do with the babies is gradually wean the rate down on the ventilator until they were just on CPAP (Constant Positive Airway Pressure). This is just blowing air constantly into the lungs to make them easier to expand. Imagine a balloon, it is easier to inflate if there is already a bit of air inside instead of having to reinflate the whole thing. They will likely keep him on CPAP for at least a few hours/day before taking out his breathing tube. That is unless he pulls it out himself in which case they likely would give him a trial without it to see if he really needs it.

Thanks everyone....Lakota is the only one who has/had hair.....I dont think he is going to lose it either....Chenoa was modeling like Aunt Sydney in her prom dress, and I asked Johna did she alwasy have food on her face and that was the lovely look I got...that one is a pistol. I still don't know if we get Gabe and Levi this weekend...but I am not trying to push to hard....just taking it slow.....If we don't get them this weekend I will go back one day next when Gabe and Levi are not in school.....Thanks so much CB for posting these...the internet we have now is so slow it takes forever to get pics to load and I was/am not in the mood to wait LOL.....Thanks again everyone...Oh yes and that is Kasey for those who don't remember.....Stacy

So sorry things have gotten worse. I can't imagine all the heartache. She has got to get away before he destroys her and the kids! I hope she has the strength to do it. Are the kids in emergency foster care?? I hate to ask but-"if she messes up one more time"-is that going back to Lee or is it drinking or drugs-gosh I hope not! so glad you and Brian are on the same page regarding the possibility of the kids coming to you. You will find a way to take them in and provide them the safety they so desparately need! Hope the kids get some counseling too.

Great picture! Beautiful children. Can't wait to see a picture of Gabriel and Levi. They must be so grown up now. It would be tragic for her to lose her babies--I pray she realizes that before it is too late. Hugs!

That is my fav. too! Sydney said that is going to be her new myspace and facebook profile pic...she is going to load it tonight...we had to try and teach Gabe how to make silly faces she said she didn't know how.....we had great fun.....I wish boys would take pics.....silly boys....Stacy

Stacy, It brings tears to my eyes..to see these! I'm sooo soo happy that Lee and Kasey have relied on you at this time..I hope and pray that Lee has finally grown up a bit and has taken the focus off himself and onto the "family" that surrounds them all!

Yes Kasey favors me but actually she looks more like her dad.....I will try and get pics when they get home from the hospital....I probably have some on my puter but it don't ahve internet hooked up to it....actually I know I do will try and see if I can get one for you.....she has my hair color and green eyes.....and is more fair complected....Stacy

I like the funny face one, too. I have a grandson who will hide or hide his face when you try and get a picture :o) They sure are fun, aren't they?
