Mini-pendant suggestions to go w/ Sausalito pendant

I just purchased the Sausalito Pendant in the deep bronze color. This is going to go over my island table. I need to find mini-pendants that will not detract from the look of the Sausalito light. The mini pendants will go over the work area of my island. What are your thoughts of the two below? Do you have any recommendations for others that will look nice? It would be great if I could find some that are $100 or less. Thanks so much!

Do you have a Lowe's near you? I know this sounds crazy, but lately I have been seeing great lighting choices in Lowe's and even in our HD. Just a thought, might even save you some money.

It took me so long to find a pendant for over my sink, and then one day, Voila! I was walking through Lowe's and there she was, and she was dirt cheap. So, make sure to look there!

Well...these all are some nice pendants. But the issue not what's a nice pendant, the issue is lighting design: what needs to be illuminated and how best? Let's revisit the subject of lighting: there's three types of lighting and each is very good for what it does: 1) ambient (overall lighting in a space); 2) task lighting (lighting of very specific and often used working areas), and 3) feature lighting ( designed more to be seen and give a welcoming warm glow than to illuminate anything specific). Well designed spaces generally need all three types of lighting--not just one! For example, in vinmarks photo above, with a great many pendants which only illuminate downwards in a rather narrow beam (look at the opaque metal tops to all the fixtures), the space has lots of "down" light, but the only ambient lighting appears to be that which bounces up off the floor and illuminates things from the bottom! Thus, there's lots of "task" lighting (if the pendants are located over work areas); a minor amount of ambient lighting; and zero feature lighting. Lighting is a highly creative endeavor and takes creativity and experience. There is no "one size fits all" solution! Good luck on your project.

Hello everyone!! I NEED HELP!!! I purchased 2 Duke Oversized Pendants (16 inch overall diameter) in 2020 on Pottery Barn site. They make my whole kitchen!! The glass on one of them broke and Pottery Barn site says No Longer available! Ive been in tears for weeks!!! Can anyone tell me where I can find one of these?? My email is ginamt2@yahoo.com. Pendant lights over Cooktop w/o hood

It really will be difficult to keep anything clean above....even sprayable oil on a muffin pan is something I take over to my cooktop area so that my hood will suck it up rather than it get all over my lights above my island. You could always try to get some lights that hang over the areas NEXT TO the cooktop, but if there is any way you can swing buying/installing a hood above the island, that would be the way to go...you can even include pendants if you still want to and the hood can be a more streamlined one.

Yes! I looked just for lights in English bronze, but you can certainly try out a different finish too if you like. These are just a few suggestions, but we have hundreds more pendant options available as well! Is the 2nd a fabric shade? The issue with a fabric shade over a work area is cleaning off the splatter. I'd rethink going that route and get a shade you can wash.

I love the Sausalito fixtures. I'm putting the silver gold flush mount in my entry.

We have the Sausalito in our dining room thanks to Kateskourous - such a great fixture!

I think light 2 goes well with it - kind of mimics the shade inside the sausalito.

I have been leaning towards the first one. It is from Murray Feiss, Urban Renewal collection $79. I liked the second but I was also thinking about the cleaning aspect of the linen shade. I have looked at both Lowes and Home Depot and agree they both have some really nice lights. I haven't found one that is simple enough but that still has style. Murray Feiss also has another light that looks similar to a drum shade but is glass:
