Please show me your white appliances with white cabinets!
Comments (5)Buffalotina here... When I remodelled my kitchen I already had a white fridge (Amana, nothing fancy) and a white Miele DW which I absolutely love and both were fine and not ready for replacement. The fridge is tucked away out of sight in the breakfast nook and looks OK there because there are no cabinets and the other stuff in there is utility white wire shelving, racks etc. As you see I did the Blue range. I agonized over whether the white DW would be OK but I decided to go ahead with it rather than trying to panel it or anything. My rationale was that as you look at that wall the backsplash is white and the white DW is also in the vertical plane and so I think it looks fine. I also have the small freestanding white cabinet that stands in the vertical plane. Also my cabinets are a very yellowy cream (Brookhaven French Vanilla) and so there was no problem with white on white where the whites might not look good together. That all said if and when I replace the DW and fridge I am tempted to go stainless... but it will probably all depend on what fridges are available at that point. Right now I am lusting over a Liebherr....and that is only in stainless... and when push comes to shove I may not be able to bring myself to spend that much on a fridge. I think I would be inclined to go with what looks more period for the 1915 house...and perhaps showcase the white vintage range and keep it the only white appliance? Good luck!!!...See MoreShow me your white cabinets with white granite counters - please!
Comments (2)Hi - We have cabinets painted SW Dover White and Madre Perola quartzite. I LOVE the quartzite, it has a lot of white but also grey and taupe veining so it reads very warm and not too stark. The overall pattern is soft and not too dramatic, which makes it a bit like marble IMO (caveat: I don't think quartzite photographs very well, it totally stopped me in the granite yard, but I looked right past it when browsing their slabs online). There are also other white cab/white stone kitchens on here - momofthreeboys and firsthouse_mp come to mind - both are quartzite, I think. Good luck with the hunt! :-)...See MoreOff White Painted Cabinets or Off white with Cocoa Glaze
Comments (7)Your range hood is gorgeous. I think that the off-white glazed cabinets would look stunning with the range hood, i think they would defintely compliment each other. The plain white would look to simple next to that hood. In the magazine picture of the kitchen you posted, those cabinets look white with no glaze and the kitchen has a very crisp, formal look to it. I think the range hood that you picked looks very warm and the cabinets would look beutiful with the glaze....See MorePhotos please - LG Viatera Rococo with warm off white cabinets
Comments (5)This was a reveal from last May. Not sure if these cabs are as warm as yours will be, but she did use Rococo. Beautiful kitchen. http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/3065901/kitchen-reveal-scherrs-rta?n=67...See MoreRelated Professionals
