I always look at eyes when someone talks to me, they sometimes negate what the mouth is saying. Sheila, there are a couple of mature actresses with heavy lids, and actually they wear it pretty well. I once went to a GP who looked up my nose for some reason, and got really excited. He said "wow, that's the most deviated septum I've ever seen!" I've had my nose broken at least twice, once from falling from an apple tree, where I was hanging upside down from a limb by my knees. If you look at my profile, my nose turns up when view from one side, and doesn't when viewed from the other. He told me straight away that he could call a surgeon and have it fixed, and as long as he was at it, could get creative and give me any nose I wanted. It was tempting, but I still have my same nose, deviated septum and all. I have seen people fresh from a nose job and they can have it, cute little bob or not.

Well, I got it in the mail, and liked it. :) Me, I take a sharpie pen, and write in BIG letters Please Remove Me From Your Mailing list. Of course, I leave my addy on there, so they know who wants to be removed, but I put everything they mail me in their postage paid envelope and mail it back. Don't have insecurity per se, but definitely feel like I'm headed away from 20 - not as comfortable as I'd like to be with that. It's not because of age; I KNOW I don't want to be 20 again - EVER. But, somehow I keep thinging that the end is near, even if it's 30 years from now. I miss enjoying the things that I did, or could do when I was younger. It's not to say that I sit in a rocking chair all day because I don't - work all day, then sit in the rocker - LOL. But when I'm around younger folks, I really feel different and can't get used to that. When I'm around people my age, they do things that feel like old folks things - that I don't like. Maybe I have a few more years to go before I mellow out some more. But then I'll be OLD!! As far as a relationship, it's harder when you are older. I'm pretty independent because my dad left when I was 12 and my Momd didn't remarry until after I did. So, even if it was difficult, my sister, my Mom and I got it done.. Some guys tell me that they don't know how to take me because of that. So I'm up against that curve too. But, I was also taught that women don't go places alone and all that old fashioned garbage. So I guess I'm not used to getting out so I can meet someone. I'm used to someting so much different - hard to meet someone when you are independent and have old-fashioned values. Plus, the older guys just don't seem to want much - they are just happy with good company. I guess that's the romance that you get when you are older, but it would be nice to have someone wink an eye at you every once in a while too. Oh well - I'll get use to this age at some point.

What word makes you laugh no matter how many times its said? None that I can think of off hand. Are you an upfront person or a person who beats arouund the bush? Very upfront. Have you ever tweeze or waxed your eyebrows? I've tweezed them since I was a teenager. Do you think professional sports players are over paid? Most definitely. What was the last book that you read? I have a hard time reading because if it doesn't absolutely hold my interest, I can't stay with it. It's not that I can't read...I just have a hard time finding something I want to read. I cannot read fiction, no matter how hard I try. I decided to give it another try and read the Da Vinci Code, and I read it all but the last 20 pages and I put it down and never did pick it up again. I don't really have time to read or watch tv. I got some books a couple of days ago and decided to give it another shot and just carry one with me until I get it read. Sorry for the long answer. When was the last time you screamed? Years and years ago. I yelled at someone the other day because they were at my gate and that is too far away for me to see who it was...so I yelled asking them who they were. It was too far away for them to hear me tho. When was the last time you felt inadequate? Last night I couldn't get Vernon, the baby squirrel, to take much milk, and I thought he was making a turn for the worse...but he seems okay today. What is one thing that annoyed you Yesterday? I drove to Pasadena to pick up my husband's check...arrived at 4, and they had already closed, so I have to go back today.
