it's possibly the oldest known plucking technique, actually... even older than waxing, and that dates back 4000 years that I know of... there is indeed a 'cat's cradle' technique- there's also a version where the thread is knotted around the hair shaft, and pulled out. I think it's one of those techniques that you're either born into the learning of as a child- or you're never going to pick it up. I'll stick with me tweezers, though... haven't met anyone who can do my brows better than I can.

I've never used Rogaine, but like many women in menopause, I started growing peach fuzz. The fuzz may not be from the Rogaine use and may have appeared anyway at this time in your life. I am of the understanding that Rogaine is not sytemic. What does the doctor who prescribes it to you say about the fuzz problem? Luckily peach fuzz doesn't leave stubble with electric razor use. :) I can't have laser removal because my hair is blond. If your hair is dark and you are considering laser removal do so BEFORE your facial hair turns gray or else you cannot have it done. A friend of mine found this out too late.

I am about to try Natural Progesterone for years getting progressively worse and worse i have had facial hair coming in which i will tweeze almost daily . it also grows as what men call a happy trail from my belly button to my pubic hair line and stray hairs in my aureoles.. i have not seen if this is related to low levels of Progesterone or not but intend on looking this up as well. it started about the same time as the facial hair in my mid 20's and by 30 it was more than 5 hairs now it is over 50 they grow over my lip on my chin and my neck. very annoying and embarrassing. i also have not been able to conceive..I have never had a child and did when i was 17 now 36 had a miss carriage have not had a pregnancy scare since.even during long term relationships with more than once weekly sexual relations.
