rug or no rug under dining table
Comments (34)Rug! Keep the Bohemian Modern chic vibe with a patterned Moroccan style like: https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-moroccan-diamond-tassel/off-white/200GCDI01A-406.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=pla&adpos=1o5&scid=scplp200GCDI01A-406&sc_intid=200GCDI01A-406&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIi4Gx49ru2QIVyFmGCh12VwK-EAYYBSABEgJVHfD_BwE or this black rug would make a beautiful statement! https://www.westelm.com/products/samara-shag-rug-black-t3437/?cm_src=AutoRel or add some color and texture, blue will compliment your furniture nicely: https://www.westelm.com/products/ombre-batik-rug-t4257/...See MoreWhat size rug under dining 72"x72" table?
Comments (5)In a perfect world you'd have 36-42" all around the table for circulation, and a minimum of 24" of that space would be for the rug, 30"+ is even better. The chairs need scoot and sit room, and space behind so other diners can exit the table without requiring someone to stand and push their chair in for someone to pass behind them....See Moreneed help finding an area rug to go under the dining room table.
Comments (16)Put your centerpiece on the chess table. Is the other ornate dining set for breakfast, gaming or could it be used here? Do you want to continue with the cow head/skin theme, leaning SW in your decor? They aren't really "cozy and elegant," IMO. Is a new chandy in the picture? That one misses the mark on elegance. You need a minimum of 36-42" from the table top to any baseboards or furniture surrounding the table to allow for chair sit/scoot space. I'd do that measurement first. I really wouldn't want the rug jammed up against the exterior wall. Maybe the smaller, round table would be a better choice for using a rug here....See MoreHaving trouble choosing the right Rug to go under the bed
Comments (11)Lovely bedroom! I’d go a bit dramatic, and bring in some warmth for a luxe feel. Something with charcoal and/or black in it. I love mixing a traditional rug with glam and sleek. It’s a more timeless look. These all have a hint of gold to tie in with your lamps. https://incrediblerugsanddecor.com/products/karastan-bobby-berk-series-1-amara-charcoal-area-rug Bigger, but the mock-up skewed the pattern: https://incrediblerugsanddecor.com/products/karastan-spice-market-petra-charcoal-area-rug This one is a bit edgier: https://incrediblerugsanddecor.com/products/loloi-prescott-pre-02-beige-area-rug https://incrediblerugsanddecor.com/products/karastan-relic-caral-black-area-rug This is a striking rug, you’d just need to make sure it wouldn’t clash with your bed color: https://www.cb2.com/myriad-handknotted-area-rug-8x10/s605947 Going pricier, but there are some gorgeous rugs here, more heirloom category. Example: https://www.kilim.com/detail/k0056666-new-hand-knotted-wool-oushak-rug This Karastan is ekegant and gorgeous. I had to mock it up small, due to the pattern, you could go bigger: https://www.karastanrugs.com/products/cosmopolitan-kamo-jade Anyway, unless you want a monochromatic look, you don’t have to stick with all gray rugs. I look at rugs as art on the floor. :) If you do decide to go with a more monochromatic look, some lovely examples here: https://curatedinterior.com/glam-bedrooms/...See Morectlane
