I am not very computer savy......but I am wondering if, rather than saving page by page, I think the catalog has the same information in it, and perhaps if the photos that are not in the catalog could be saved in an album, it might be a space saving way to save the information. I do have the catalog and prize it highly. But if the photos could be saved, that would be a huge help to compare them with the catalog information. I heard from Gregg that I got "several" on my gallon sale list and am waiting to hear. I also ordered several more from the website - hope I get them also. I guess the gallon sale will be the actual last order for me from Vintage. I think back of all the wonderful roses that were available some years ago. I ordered lots but now I wish I had ordered so many more. I wish some of the other vendors like Rogue Valley, Heirloom, Roses Unlimited, etc. would buy rights to cuttings of these marvelous roses and offer them........the roses have to be pruned anyway, and it would be a way to make a little money from the new enterprise - and get the rare roses back into commerce. How I hate the closing of this respected and unique nursery!!! Judith

Hi all, I come by and check but don't read everything. I see Marci and Dee said hi, and maybe others have, too. My family's left. I don't know if I mentioned it, but they were successful in their attempt to set up swimming with the dolphins. I couldn't go to that, but did get to swim in the ocean. That's not something I can ordinarily do because of my illness and disabilities. I tried to post a couple of days ago, but everything that came out sounded upset and I didn't want to scare anyone. :) I've been ill the last few days. I talked to my doctor and she said it sounds like viral meningitis. That's the mild kind, not the kind that can leave a person brain damaged or dead, so its nothing to worry about, just uncomfortable - who needs more pain and fatigue. I might go in to her office tomorrow. Tropical Storm Celia went by here yesterday. She was a hurricane a few days ago, but diminished. There was thunder and lightning and heavy rain and winds, but nothing too damaging. Just enough excitement but not too much. I've got into anime for reasons I won't go into. I ordered Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. Has anyone here seen it? Does anyone know or remember the song by Don McLean, "Chain Lightning?" I've always liked that song. Very dramatic. My internet relationship, which I talked about earlier, is still going strong - seven months now. I said that he is very unhappy and troubled, which is still true, but he has turned out to be also very caring, intelligent, and sweet. I hope we can continue to be friends for a long time, and I hope his situation improves for him. I've been reading about the get together next year. Remember, I'd like a video. :) I know that it will be a blast. It's nice to come here and have this group. You are such a loving bunch where all are welcome. There have been so many ups and downs, but people are always supportive and caring. Love to you, thanks for remembering me, and I hope everyone has a good day. I'm not spending as much time here as I was, which may change (who knows) but I won't get lost. It's been so frustrating to me when others that I care about quit posting and then I never know how they are doing. I guess Suzanne is # 3 Raeanne is # 2 Well, it is a quiet Saturday night here. Rog went to bed early, and I'm watching Flashdance, and thinking OMG--did I ever really wear torn sweatshirts?? (yep.) I think that's why I love to watch old(er) movies--for just a second, I am back to an age where there wasn't any major problems, and I still believed all people were good, and the whole world was open for the taking. :):) OK--advice needed--mom keeps wanting me to come over and watch some 2+ hours, B&W, 1940 movie with who-knows in it (I've never heard of them). At the risk of sounding like a cold-hearted @#!^%, I have NO (none, el zilcho, nada) desire to do this--heck, I don't even have the time to watch what I actually want to watch, much less this thing. Now, I know how important spending time with her and dad is, and I enjoy just sitting around yapping, but our choices of movies are a complete 180. The last time I got coerced into this, I pr@yed to die of boredom, and then fell asleep. It was a truly aweful movie, and part of me resents being guilted into this. We're fixing Christmas dinner for Christmas Eve to take over, before we go to Midnight services, and mom brought up this d@mned movie again. Gawd, I'll watch it, but I'd rather be sh0t--any suggestions? (I really am not being cold, I would just rather sit around and talk--and she knows this.) Anyhoo--hope this finds everone well! Hello all. -I am 30 y/o. -DH is 35 (-what does "DH" stand for?!) -DH was married 14 years ago. Got married shotgun style, at 20 y/o, when he knocked up his girlfriend. -SS who is 12 (almost 13) from that union. -DH divorced BM of my SS after 3 years (therefore 11 years ago) SS is living with us 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off for summer vacation. He *may* stay with us full time when school starts up because his BM "can't handle him" and he is much better behaved with me and DH. I personally do not have any of my own kids, and I am 99% sure I don't want any. So, you can imagine I am not thrilled about SS coming to live with us full-freaking-time. All I can do it count down the days til he turns 18 and/or gets a life of his own. Right now it's lots of micromanaging a teen who isn't too keen on hygiene. So happy to join this forum and talk to other stepmama's with the same issues I have. :)
