Update to all my plumerias outside. They had to be moved back in the garage and inside. After temps dropped into the 40's at night and 50's during the day I didn't want to risk loosing any. The temps dropped after getting almost two inches of rain which was needed, but wet and cold combo was not welcome. So they will stay inside for the next week or so till night temps stay above 50. PEG: When I brought them outside I soaked them good with water from the hose. Temps then were in the 80's. Without leaves I don't water again till I see some activity. I just wanted to get them started after a long dry winter inside. JANDEY: Something about blue pots that I just can't pass up. I've got some round ones too, but the square is more stable. Talk about heavy though, even with light fast draining soil. I use a hand truck to move it. DAVE_IN_NOVA: My garage is in the 60's and 70's pretty consistently now and I see a difference just bringing them outside. Guess it won't hurt them being in the garage I just wanted to take advantage of the sunlight. I have a few small windows so they get some natural light. Some of the newer rooted cuttings are still dormant. Guess the 50 degree temps shocked them to sleep again.

My husband routinely gets up by 5 if he is not working. If he is working, he is up at 3 or 4. On the days he doesn't work, he goes and has coffee at a little convenience store that has a few booths, with some of the local farmers and ranchers. I wake up when he does but I go back to sleep for an hour or so. I wake up on my own between 6:30 and 7. I don't set an alarm....I just wake up. I fall asleep very fast....unless I know I have to get up at a certain time....and then I can't fall asleep for anything. I am a very light sleeper and I wake up fast. When I wake up, I am wide awake. It doesn't take me any time to "get with the program".

Right now none of my petasites are in full bloom yet but not even sure if I'll even get to see them since my dad picks them before it opens up completely. In our culture we eat the unopened flowers of this plant. Just had it now for part of dinner.. it was quite tasty. But we have tons and tons of these plants in our garden so I'm sure I'll come by one sometime soon. I'll take pics and post it here

This all sounds so familiar but I found some ways around most of my problem but not all of my problem. For work I wake up around 6 a.m. weather I fall asleep at 10:30 pm or 1 a.m. Very often it is much to closer to 1 a.m. I have a hyperactive bladder that rears its bladder head the minute I plan to go to sleep. I just listened to a Google talk all about how bad it is all the way around to not get it around 7 or 8 hours of sleep. How you look is affected as well. Getting 8 hours of sleep is truly is a beauty sleep that you miss out on. He says our hearts are involved that up all sorts of other illnesses like Alzheimer's and stuff like that are somehow connected to sleep. Oh woe is me I can't seem to do anything about that my hyperactive bladder and getting more sleep as I have to go to work. I don't have a problem actually falling asleep once I get to bed. In general I don't tend to mull over things. My mantra is I will plan and take care of that in the morning. Most of the time I will end up taking care of whatever it is that is plaguing me. That has helped the worrying part of me to trust the planning and execution part of me and it helps me to silence my mind and go to sleep. I tell myself if I'm inundated with bad or negative memories or even just lots of ruminating that these are memories of memories and they are in the past and they don't belong in the present with me right now. Unless I'm writing my memoirs. Which nobody would want to read :-). Of course I try to use my memories in constructive ways to remind myself not to do that again. You can tell I'm by myself too much!
