Nonprofit demo/donation and taxes?

Quick question for anyone out there who used a nonprofit organization for demo, or donated old cabinets or kitchen materials to a nonprofit.

We had a national nonprofit do our kitchen demolition. Yesterday we got a receipt with an itemized list of everything pulled from our kitchen during our November demo, which I assume they sent for tax purposes. But---it doesn't list a value for any of it! What is the "value" for taxes considered to be? Do I count the full cost of the demolition as a donation, or some subset of it based on what they could salvage? (I can call them and see what they say, of course, but just wondered if there was an established protocol for this sort of thing---we're new to the world of itemizing taxes!) We paid with a check made out to the organization.

Thanks!
