Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. I don't do much to celebrate it anymore. I usually buy myself something but this year didn't even do that. I celebrated yesterday at the combo birthday/valentine party at the Home where my sister Annie lives. Can't beat it. They provide music, entertainment, food, and good company. Annie and I had a ball singing songs such as I Love You Truly, Love Me Tender, etc. She still remembers me taking her to see Elvis in that movie....boy was that a long time ago!! So thanks again and I'll continue on enjoying my nice, quiet day. Shirley

Thanks so much for all your well wishes. I had a nice, quiet day which I enjoyed. We don't celebrate birthdays in my family anymore.

I've heard from most of them in one form or another: mail, email, phone calls. The last one I just got was a 'present' though. My granddaughter who lives several states away says they might get to visit in the spring....hooray....I'll get to see her 3 precious kids (one I have never seen yet).
