How high of a temp is too high?
Comments (2)Tempature all depends on the plants you grow. If you study plants and how they grow, you will find that different plants require different conditions. Not all plants grow the same. Some plants require low temps and some higher temps. This all depends on the plant. You can do an internet search on your type of plant and find tons of info. Comments (18)Hi, I wonder how your lawn is doing now? It looks a lot like my lawn has looked in shadier areas and I mow high all the time. This year, however, I decided to fertilize the lawn to try to build up the soil. I have around 10,000sq ft and bought around 240 lbs of alfalfa pellets and spread them all over the grass with a few good quality seeds mixed in. Then I spread around 6 bags of milorganite (I know the product is controversially organic, but I'm limited by cost, availability, and ability) I have sandy loam and loamy sand and I don't water the lawn, since it costs too much in money and water... I do, however let the rain come off the roof(no gutters) and have sloped and put sheeting under the mulch to keep the moisture away from the foundation and crawl space. With the rains, and fertilizer, the grass is getting so lush and beautiful. It is beginning to go to seed, so I hesitate to cut it as it is approaching 6" and my mower cuts to 4. I'm going to cut as high as possible most of the summer. I do have a rash of plantain, however, in spots ( I hate to tell you how many hours I spent pulling it the last couple of years, and my hands are too valuable to me for other things to wear them out this way (so I'm contemplating spot treating them unless you have a better idea. (usually I chicken out and don't use chemicals.. haven't so far yet anyway)...See MoreMicrowave MicroHood Height...Too High?
Comments (20)I spoke with my cabinet fabricator and he said he uses that measurement to prevent people from bumping their heads when cooking. He said his priority is for me to be happy and he was open to either rebuilding the cabinet all together or adding in a filler to lower it, at no additional cost. I had my DH check it out and based on his height, he could potentially hit it if he leaned forward enough. I had my kids test it out also and it's a bit of a reach for my 10 year old, but he could at least place something in it and manage to hit the start button without too much of a struggle. Based on the information provided by everyone, I decided to live with it for my DH's sake, since he does most of the cooking in our household....See MoreAdvantium height - how high is too high?
Comments (1)My Advantium is above my wall oven. It is 45 -1/2 inches from the kitchen floor to the bottom of the lower trim piece. It is approx. 64 inches to the top of The Advantium. When the door is open it is approximately 48 inches above the floor. There are specifications provided on the GE website for installation of the Advantium above an oven. I have linked those below. It seems to me that your Advantium would be too high at the measurements you stated. I am 5'5" and I certainly would not want my Advantium any higher. Here is a link that might be useful: Specs for installing Advantium...See Morejoyce_6333
