Front Outdoor Hanging Lantern

Hi,

Our developer likes to have a large front outdoor lamp. I am trying to find an extra large lamp at a reasonable cost but am not able to. Do you know of any place I can shop for such a large lamp.

Here are the requirements.

The height of entry light fixtures shall be at least twenty-eight inches (28") excluding ornamentation and chimneys, and minimum 15" wide as shown here in the diagram.

Any place where I can shop for such a large lamp.

Any help in appreciated.

That is a behemoth wall light. 65" tall according to the diagram. Kichler makes one about that size.

We've painted our front door black and changed the house numbers and door fixtures from brass to pewter/nickel. The yard lantern is all black, which is fine. But the two lanterns, one on either side of the door, are brass. Is there a paint I can use to make the brass look pewter/nickel? Or would I be better off going with black? TIA, chery2

..or on a flea market. They also have cute handmade stuff there sometimes Also: tiles. As in " tile art". If it something that speaks to you. Also: stained glass, mosaics I don't know how it will work with the house though. These are usually vivid, bright. But there are different styles too. Also: there are outdoor mirrors. Can't remember where I saw these..

I just bought a lantern like Jinx posted. I think I am going to attach the greenery to the top because it is open and when it snows here if I don't close off the top somehow, the interior of the lantern will get snow in it, and then it will melt, etc. It came with a battery operated candle in it. I took a photo of the lantern on the hook, but I am in a rush so can't post it yet. The hanger is decorative so not sure I should cover it up, but perhaps attach some greenery to the post . . .

Good grief. I hope you'll forgive me for saying that I think you need a different developer. It's your house! You bought it! You should be able to put whatever light fixture you want on it.

I would never buy a house where someone could order me to installl such a ludicrous monstrosity at the front entrance.
