Aw, poor fella, Georgy. Have you recently celebrated another anniversary? I honestly don't remember my first official date because, like you, I had crushes and we would play outside together in the snow or play tennis and ride bikes. I had a crush on a 5th grader and when I was 20 years old; visiting my God parents in Phila I got on an elevator with a guy who started chatting and there he was - my 6 degrees of separation. We found the connection 4 floors down. That fast. I said I used to live outside of Phila and he asked where and.....he came to visit me at college. Smiley face. Blowing my nose is a very good answer isn't it? I would not do it at the table etc. I still excuse myself. No? I'm weird huh. It's painful being me.

It really depends on the age group that was surveyed. In my thirties, at the bridge table we discussed husbands and kids, forties it was colleges and tuitions, in the 50's the kids were gone and we were discussing our pets, in the 60's it was retiring husbands and retirement, now its aches and pains and hospitalizations, illnesses and deaths. The whole life cycle in a nut shell as discussed at the bridge table!

On the other hand, I struggle with leaving Georgy so I'll go with leaving pets or boarding them.
