Sixty inches is probably enough room but just know that it is going to be tight. We're in the process of buying a washer and dryer for our new laundry room; we have 63" from kick molding to kick molding and it's going to feel tighter than I would have liked. Unless you're looking at the smaller Euro models, most of the machines are at least 27" deep. The machines we're looking at are closer to 31" deep, and that's with the doors closed. You also have to take into account the clearance for pipes, venting and electrical outlets behind the machines. If we're lucky, the front of the machines will be 36" away from our back wall. If you have a similar set-up, then you'll have 24" inches remaining. I believe the doors we've seen are around 20" or 21". Good luck!

With little info, what I see: - The room marked "Laundry" looks to be a porch or balcony on the drawing, because of the different floor finish and no window according to how a window is shown in the bedrooms; - I would guess you are in the U.K., which might mean you will have a combo condensing dryer/washer, which is smaller and can be hidden under a counter; - You are in a multi-unit building, which might mean that plumbing (or exhaust if needed) will affect the placement of any new plumbing appliance; - The size and layout of bathroom strongly indicates a wet room shower where an appliance would be out of place. So, if any of this applies, I would keep the Kitchen as is to the view through the porch/balcony to the sea, and possibly work it into the Kitchen if fits, or a closet/cabinet next to the bathroom where "310" is written (if that is not where a dining table goes).
