Any idea who makes this light fixture?

I'm trying to find the manufacturer of the lighting fixture on the cover of New Old House magazine Spring/Summer 2012 issue. A picture is in the link. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. I've searched all over but can't find it. Thanks so much.

Have you looked at Hubbardton Forge? This may not be one of theirs, but they have similar, and they are made in the US.

While looking at built in micros last year, I found that quite a few, if not most, are all made by Sharp, and virtually identical inside. Although the trim kits and panel vary a bit from brand to brand. I chose the Viking, because it was available in black, and I liked the clean lines of the trim kit without the visible grill vents.

No idea, but I would ask $40 for it. I have nice antique pieces I can barely give away right now. The manufacturer name isn't going to fetch a higher price.

Lighting like yours is way out of fashion now. It also happens to provide some of the most even, easy-on-the-eyes lighting possible for any work area. The only gripe I have with it is that the frosted diffuser panels usually used yellow after a couple of decades and need to be replaced. I'm the kind of person who prefers seeing to looks, and as my eyes get older that's ever more true. I do NOT like recessed lights; you need stacks of them to get something even close to even light, and then all those holes in the ceiling leak heat unless you're really careful. If I had your lighting setup in my kitchen, I'd update the fluorescent fixtures with modern electronic ballasts and new high-CRI lamps, which are about as efficient as most LEDs and better than many. Then I'd put in new diffusers, and enjoy my bright, evenly lit kitchen for another 10 years or more.

do pendants and drum shade
you will get lot of choice

go to more than one source

I would advise a Google search for

pendant drum shade
chandelier drum shade
hanging drum shade

and then look at "Images" as opposed to "Everything". Can try it with "Shopping" too. You'll see a number of fixtures that closely resemble the one you like. Didn't see the exact one, but there may be something there that you can work with.

HF makes high quality lighting - not inexpensive but not outrageous either.

I just purchased two of these for my closet from Circa lighting, there were two this style but one more expensive than the other, the one I got is the less called the Reed - I love them, and can't wait to get them installed. May not be exactly but it is close. There are also some on LampsPlus
