A bit more than 20% of Canadians are French speakers. Also, something like 20 % of Canadians are foreign born (with probably some small overlap with the first group).

With those two factoids in mind, I find the predominance of Anglo-Saxon names on that website and the absence of obvious names belonging to people in the groups previously mentioned quite surprising.

I realize that names aren't always a good indication, but it does seem odd that few or none of Canada's large and visible "ethnic communities" (in a country that tries to pride itself on same) are represented.
