Good or bad experience w/ Miseno, Danze or Essen kitchen faucets?
Comments (21)We did a master bath with Danze a number of years ago. All of the finishes have failed and all of the cartridges and parts have corroded. They take WEEKS to deal with warranty. YOU have to mail the parts back at your expense after weeks of waiting for the claim papers. Contrast this to my experience with Moen, Delta and Kohler. Call them, they send the part. Sometimes you get it in a day or two. Most times within a week. And both Delta and Moen sent completely new faucets without any problem at all. Keep all of your receipts. And even if it's been many years, that is the service you will get....See MoreWhats a good moderate price pre-rinse kitchen faucet to buy?
Comments (5)Kraus KPF-1602 faucet! Installed for 2 years, and love it. It has two faucets in one, the water pressure is great, it has all-brass construction, and it is very dramatic looking. I cannot get over that some brands charge $1000+, and I don't even think those faucets are as functional as the Kraus. Right now, $285 at expressdecor (where we bought ours). Make sure to look at all the pics in the link below. Here is a link that might be useful: Kraus KPF-1602 faucet...See MoreGood place to buy kitchen faucet and sink
Comments (3)I don't really have a choice but to be quick. Demolition is taking place now. Next Thursday is installation of the cabinets and I need the faucet by December 3rd when they put the granite in for me. I had an idea what type of faucet I wanted but I had to search online for an excellent deal. I am spending way too much. I budgeted only for my living room but then the room is connected to the dining room and the kitchen. I need to have a budget next time....See MoreRohl kitchen faucet? California Faucets kitchen faucet instead?
Comments (60)I ended up here, because I'm redoing my kitchen and trying to make a decision about the faucet. I have various faucets throughout my house from Kohler, Moen, Restoration Hardware, and Newport Brass. I think the Restoration Hardware fixtures are made by Newport Brass, because we had to call them when we needed to replace. We've had them from 10-12 years, so I don't know the styles or even if they are made. Almost all are polished nickel, and the Kohler and Moen are always spotless, laundry room and bathroom, respectively. I'm not crazy about the pull down sprayer on the Kohler. The Moen Showcase (do they still make this line?) is in the bathroom, and I love it so much, because I can just pour water over it and it will dry spotless. It's amazing. It is wall mount, and I wish I had it in every bathroom. Because of my success with Moen, when I needed a faucet for my kitchen, I bought an inexpensive (relative to all the other faucets I have) Moen at Home Depot. It is the only non polished nickel faucet I have. It is stainless steel, still looks brand new (10 years+), and the pull down sprayer works wonderfully. Unfortunately, I'd never buy fixtures from Restoration Hardware again. They spot like crazy. The Newport Brass are slightly better, but they also spot. I'm looking at Kohler and Moen for my new kitchen, but the choices are limited in polished nickel. Now I'll look at California Faucets, too, but I'll skip Rohl, since someone mentioned the polished nickel spots so much....See More- 13 years ago
