advice for trying to get back to your normal sleep schedule?

I had to take a week off work to tend to a family emergency. I am normally a night person because of my job -- rarely go to sleep before 2:30 a.m. (and that schedule has been going on for at least 20 years, so I'm used to it). But this past week, I was up very early in the morning and to bed by 11, 11:30, and there was really no "active" stuff going on during the day (no walking, exercising) because of the emergency nature of the things going on during the week.

Now that part is over, back to my normal walking schedule.

And you can see by the time on this posting I am awake, up and alert after a short sleep of about 2 hours.

Any tips for trying to get my routine back? Maybe some of you who travel overseas and have to deal with different time zones have some ideas. I don't really want to reach for the Advil PMs just yet ...
