Here's what we did. Mirror is overall 16" x 48" tall with a 2" sand-blasted border all around. Vanity top is 26" wide and pendants are 24" on center. It is a Powder Room so a large mirror is not necessary but actually this one has been totally satisfactory.

My parents house is like that, but there’s a wall with a wide doorway into the area with the vanity, so it’s open but also easy to close off by just putting a curtain rail up. It’s also oriented to the room such that if you only use enough light at the vanity to wash your hands for a midnight potty run, it really isn’t enough to bother someone in the bed if you place the bed sensibly. Getting ready in the morning would be trickier if you needed to do makeup and so on so needed proper lighting, so that’s where a screen or a curtain would come in.

redroze, you have such exquisite taste in making every room you decorate feel so peaceful as well as beautiful. I just love your finished guest bathroom so much. It gives me a lot of ideas for when I am ready to renovate my bathrooms. I love the white vanity with the crystal knobs that goes so well with the peaceful wall coloring, tile and hardware. Your bathroom is truly breathtaking to me. My three bathrooms in my home are more difficult to decorate since the toilet, sinks, bath tub, jacuzzi, etc. are all bone and not white. One day, I want to change all this in my Master Bathroom. My Master Bedroom is so peaceful like your bathroom with my Antique White Maple Durham Furniture and neutral walls with ivories, creams and whites. My Master Bathroom I managed to make peaceful and work with the bone appliances. I guess I am blessed that they are not pink. :) Thanks for sharing.
