Use Google's Picasa. That's all I use even though I'm a Photoshop expert.

Picasa is easy to use and pretty effective. It uses Picnik as an add on, but I don't know what the future holds for that part of Picasa now.

Jodi-

I love picnik I am very sad to hear this.
I do have some others that are similar I Will link those when I am on my pc.

Thabks Jodi...Would I have to download Picasa? I hate to download anything...everything seems to have excess baggage!;)

Thanks RC!! Looking forward to those links! :)

there you go that is a selection I have saved, I have used some others not yet.
I will miss the right click option that came with picnik to just send that picture to picnik that was so handy.

I have never really cared for picasa tried it a long time ago.

Of course you can install irfanview on your pc it is a very good photo tool does all sorts of stuff.
IrfanView

Download "Photoscape" from Google...it is a totally free, very powerful & user friendly photo editor. (much simpler and more powerful than Picasa).

I have Photoshop elements and another professional editor but I find that 9 times out of 10 I use photoscape first, and reserve the pro programs only for the most difficult editing jobs.

I have been using photoscape for over 5 years and I can testify that it is totally free of ads, malware, popups or any of that other anoying BS that we normally see on free software.

I don't understand all the google stuff but just read picnik is going to be at google+. What ever that means . Maybe under a name mentioned above.

I want another site that makes it as easy to post photos on forums as Picnik was - know of any?

I checked those sites (and saved them), but does anyone know of one with less bells & whistles? I mainly want a way to add text to items I'm sellng! ;)

I like this one, give it a try. It has all kinds of features

Here is a link that might be useful: online image editor

Oh, I forgot
I Use TinyPic most the time, its very easy and much better then photobucket

Here is a link that might be useful: tiny Pic

I think each one I linked to has the ability to add text just like picnik had several of them are extremely easy to use give them a try see what you like best. Luna pic says right on the front page add text, just upload the pic and select that feature.

I hate it when I mess up! I don't know why I commented on this thread as I did - I USE Tinypic and always have - what a dummy I am!!!! I have hair-color brain, I guess!

I can't get the $ and some of the numbers in LunaPic to show up on my photos!:(

Thanks Joann!!

I just used the luna pic one on a photo and did text worked beautifully and has so many fonts and colors to choose from.

the fotoflexer one is very much like picnik and I was able to add $$ and number to my pictures as well as glitter text and regular text.

Thanks RC! I do believe that's gonna work!!
