Any guesses as to who was in the "house"?

My guess is that it is Orson. Looks like a ring on a man's finger. Carl(?) wouldn't have had a ring on.

If this show hasn't jumped the shark yet, it's darn close to it. Finding out what's up with the Bolen family is the only thing that keeps us watching.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a lot of discussion here about DH today.

That was pretty much the dumbest hour of TV I've ever seen.

I got bored with it. I think they are running out of ideas. I have to admit, though, that I thought the "mid weight" Susan (with a little meat in her face and thighs) looked much better than the "real," in my opinion far to model-skinny, Susan!

What a waste of my time....

I actually thought it was very touching and poignant ~ the part about lynette's disabled son put tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat.

I was disappointed.

I liked it too. It was very touching. The part with Bree's dreams about Orson. And Lynette's about her unborn son. I like to watch a show that touches me.

I felt the same way as Donna. It was a refreshing way to do the show. I loved the way they handled Lynette's dream. No sugar coating and so very touching.

I very much enjoyed last night's episode. It was an interesting change, and I thought there was some good acting going on.

I thought last night's show was a waste of time, too. I wish I would've fast forwarded through the "what if's" and just saw the 3 main points of the show. I didn't see the point in the "what if's", felt as if they were just trying to come up with a show. I was sad about the "losses" on the show. Won't say more, for those that haven't watched yet, but I will miss that person.

OK, I've got a question about last night's episode. First of all, does anyone still have it on tape/DVR to go back and check some dialogue?

When everyone was in the hospital waiting room to find out the status on the person who was most severely injured (and ultimately didn't make it), Lynette suddenly clutches her very pregnant belly and looks at Tom and said something. Which of these sentences did she say? "I think there's something wrong with the baby."

or... "I think there's something wrong with the babies."

or "I think there's something wrong with one of the babies."

Lynette was supposed to be pregnant with twins. I thought that when the doctor was telling Lynette (when she was on a gurney) that they had to do surgery, that he was talking like she was pregnant with twins; that one had died because of the blow to her abdomen during the plane crash; and that in order to have any chance to save the other one that she had to have immediate surgery to hopefully prevent any "developmental disabilities."

But after the surgery and after Lynette's dream, she wakes up and asks Tom how the surgery went... and how the baby was doing. He responds with telling her that the baby didn't make it, but that the other baby will be just fine.

That kinda confused me -- okay, I admit I shouldn't have been knitting a complicated cable pattern while I was watching -- but if before the surgery she was told that one twin didn't make it and they needed surgery to hopefully prevent disabilities in the remaining twin, then when Lynette asked "how did the surgery go" she would already know that one twin had died...

So, obviously I missed something. Does anyone know for certain what was said/what happened?

Lindsey, I just watched the show (on Hulu.com), so I should be able to answer your question. But duh....... I don't know!

Add me to the list of those who liked this episode. It didn't advance the storyline, but it had other qualities.

I had mixed feelings about the show. It was one that could easily be watched while multi-tasking, since the storylines did not advance all that much.

I thought Lynette's dream was very poignant, and it hit home with me. I do not have a handicapped child, but I think any mother could relate to the challenge of "sink or swim" when it comes to fostering their child's independence. It is very difficult to "let go" even when you know it is for the best.
