Pot roast done in an old dutch oven.. yummm

Made a turkey pot pie last night, thank god there were leftovers because it was so good. Gonna have it again tonight.

I'm not sure. Just got in a few minutes ago. I know DH has some left over fish and chips, maybe some soup to go with it. I just ate my two shrimp from last night. Maybe I'll just have some soup.

I tried a new meatloaf recipe that I found online. I don't care for it so will delete that one from my files. It's okay enough to have for leftovers so it won't go to waste. I also had a potato with it. For a vegetable, I had a bowl of freshly made vegetable soup.

CountrySunshine, I can almost smell it--yum! I know I've told you this a million times, but I'm telling you again. We just LOVE your tartar sauce recipe. Years ago while we were traveling we stopped at a seafood restaurant and we never forgot their sauce. I don't know how many recipes I've tried through the years trying to get that taste. Finally found yours and felt like I'd won the lottery!

Two.25acres, put pie crust on just about anything and I'll love it :-) When I was young and living in Indianapolis with two other girls, we just about lived on Morton pot pies. LOL!

Georgysmom, it's so cold in your area, soup will taste really good. We're supposed to get down to 33 tonight and we have to leave for Gainesville before daylight tomorrow. Bummer!

Shirley, a meatloaf sandwich is a wonderful thing! (Especially with a little veggie soup.)

Pammyfay, can't go wrong with beef and broccoli. I usually order chicken-something at the Chinese places around here--kinda hard to screw up chicken!

Cheryl and I had a very full day. We dropped the dogs at the vet's to be groomed and then we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I had two biscuits and a double serving of gravy as I did not want the grits, two turkey patties, and two scrambled eggs. I brought one biscuit and butter and jelly home and that was my supper. I had a Rally burger for lunch. We had a fun day and finally picked the dogs up, they looked so cute. Izzi had a little Valentine bow under her chin.

Mike grilled hamburgers and they were so good. I put onion and a whole green chili, mayo and mustard on mine.

Nita, I'd just love to have a grilled burger. Waiting for the weather to get a little better here.

Hounds, that sounds good and healthy, too. We've had to lay off the green veggies for a few days since Harry has to have his INR tested tomorrow.
