Anybody have a Sharper Image Weather Butler alarm clock?

If you do will you PLEASE tell me how to set the time?? I've been messing with the thing for a half hour (and yes, I am following the directions in the manual). I'm glad I bought this at Kohl's, returning it will be easy. An alarm clock should be easy to figure out... geeze.

Just packed it back into the box.. too much of a hassle to try and set it.

Lydia, we have one and it is the pitts to set. I accidentally unplugged it and we haven't gotten it back to normal yet. Read the directions carefully and still could not get it!

Our GGS loves to hear the little man talk though!

I'm panicking to say the least! When I ordered the chickens the women said they would be here my the middle to end of May. Then yesterday morning I get an email from her saying the chickens would be here onthe 9th or 10th!!! Guess what?...I still haven't built the darn coop yet! Soo I spent (with list of stuff needed) 2 1/2 hours at LW's with a very helpful young man who helped me every step of the way as I had no clue whatsoever what I was doing. I was exhausted! My DH being a very busy recruiter that he is had no choice but to send me to do this. Now we have all the stuff and he plans on putting it together after work (and he has to work this Sat.) BUT it is raining the 3 days and so that leaves us 2 days to have this completed! I need a paper bag! No, I'm ok, just remain calm. It's not a big coop/run at all and the guy we bought the plans from said it should take no more than a day or two. We are going to be cutting it VERY close! On the bright side I am soooo excited that they are finally arriving! I actualy dreamed about them last night how silly I know. I will most definatley post pic's. Tom, I will bring you aster plants - the mom plant sends out lots of shoots after she is done blooming. And then, when the young pups are done blooming, they too send out pups - so the population grows rather well :) I have QW vine, but unfortunately, this year, due to the nasty weather, it froze to the ground :( It is finally starting to coming back from the roots and has a long way to go. Anna is , I think, a bit more south of us, so her vine did much better through the winter.... Does anyone know the name of this plant? I forgot! And does anyone have it in other colors? I particularly have been looking for blue, not sure if I will ever find it :) From Backyard Summer 2008

Ideas for reconfiguring the back of my bungalow?

Congratulations on acquiring such an appealing bungalow on such a charming block. I am just finishing renovation on a 1923 Sears kit house (not a real bungalow, but a small foursquare with a bungalow porch running across the front), also in DC. My house was in such bad shape when I bought it that I was able to do some minor reconfiguring in the original footprint, but I was not able to add on because of the lot size, which is truncated. Were I you, I would take plenty of time sketching out the current addition or a slightly larger version. If you are going to be plumbing what is now the back bedroom, you might want to consider whether it is worth your while to make your main bathroom a bit bigger. More to the point, you could have a really spectacular space overlooking your back garden. If you altered the roofline of the addition so that it continues the slopes of the original house roof, you would even have the option of a vaulted ceiling with exposed framing. For what it's worth, I don't think porches with tapered piers screen in very well. In a neighborhood of like houses, an open and modestly furnished front porch just has a nice communitarian vibe. I think I may get a roll up shade for the west side of my porch, to keep the sun from heating the concrete so relentlessly in July and August. It actually isn't that hard to set up once you get the hang of it. The key is the button on the bottom which scrolls you thru Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute...but it is confusing. I had the remote temp set and working. Then I moved the clock radio and now I can't get he remote to sync with the radio to display outside temp. Very frustrating...this and their high prices are why Sharper Image had to file bancruptcy...bought mine at Kohl's, may also return it

I don't have that one but bought one at Wal Mart and it's a pain in the rear to try and set. It's still not right, about 15 min. off the right time.
I've seen one advertised that says it resets itself to the right time anytime it goes off, that's the one I want and need.

Help. My Invalid husband LOVES his AM/FM Clock Radio Time/Weather Butler. Yes, they are a little complicated to set up but a treasure to have. He has knocked his off the table and missing it so. I am trying to find another!!! I'm discovering they are being discontinued. Does anyone know where one can be bought? Thx

I have this one, but it's not in stock anymore. I too have a hard time seeing the am/pm and I use my hand magnifier to see :o) I have two of them and absolutely love them. One in the bedroom and living room.

If you cycle through the all hours, does the am/pm change automatically? I have a digital alarm that does that, meaning I have to go all the way through the numbers to get to the next one I want that will be am or pm. There is no manual way to change it without just cycling through.

I have one and love it! However, the outdoor sensor has somehow disappointed. I've been searching online to try to purchase a replacement with no luck. Does anyone know if a different type/brand of sensor will work with this clock?

With all of those issues ... AM/FM ... and a.m./p/m. ... etc. ...

... life sure do have its problems!

Good luck ... and persistence/perseverance ... in getting them all straightened out!
