Show me your wood countertops, please!
Comments (10)Thanks, breezygirl...you're always a wealth of info and have a great memory (I can't remember what I did last week....lol) Allison, your island is to die for.....so pretty! lazygirl, thanks for sharing....how big is your wood countertop? nini, I've been admiring your wood countertop for a while through other threads. It is gorgeous and is exactly what I'd try to emulate if we go this route. Would you mind sharing your cabinet color and floor color as well? (I'm sure I could find it by searching, but I'm being lazy today.) Your entire kitchen is stunning!...See Moreplease show me your backless counter stools

Comments (2)Hi - We have cabinets painted SW Dover White and Madre Perola quartzite. I LOVE the quartzite, it has a lot of white but also grey and taupe veining so it reads very warm and not too stark. The overall pattern is soft and not too dramatic, which makes it a bit like marble IMO (caveat: I don't think quartzite photographs very well, it totally stopped me in the granite yard, but I looked right past it when browsing their slabs online). There are also other white cab/white stone kitchens on here - momofthreeboys and firsthouse_mp come to mind - both are quartzite, I think. Good luck with the hunt! :-)...See MoreShow me the counter top you chose with your Blanco sink in truffle
Comments (7)it's funny but I don't remember the exact name..I do remember the company I think it was this http://www.quartzforms.com/en/products/620 (and it looks different IRL..it looks lighter and sort of off white..green based off white maybe just in my kitchen? I was much more concerned to make it work with backsplash, cabinets etc..Truffle sink was much easier to work with)...See Moredoonie
