Bad TXV valves (2 in a row) on brand new unit

Just got a XR15 Trane HVAC unit installed last week. The unit install went well, but 1 hour after the installers left, the outside coil unit stopped working. Outside unit tried to start but and fan spun for about 2 seconds and stopped. The air inside at ducts was room temp but still flowing(blower still running).

HVAC guys came back and said it was a bad TXV valve. Said it was rattling when they installed it (they braised lines without TXV installed to protect it) They got a replacement from trane and before they installed, said it was rattling inside also so they did not replace it yet since it is probably bad also.

To keep the unit going, they bypassed a switch for high pressure lockout temporarily and we get cool air but only at 12-15 deg delta.

So my question, How often are these TXV valves bad when brand new and should I expect further issues even after they get a "Good one" eventually?
