Several years ago I tried to buy Gallex. I got no where. As I recall, the one company that had had it no longer had it and said it was only for commercial use. Good luck, and I'm really interested if it is available at all. Sort of on topic, a well known rosarian from Mobile once in a talk said he had crown gall on all his roses and it didn't bother them, he just fertilized more. (At that time I had had a rooted cutting die, strangled by crown gall the size of a Cheerio, so I doubted him, but he may have found something that worked for his growing conditions.)

@Patricia Collwell Consulting Patricia-question for you...I have 4K in the living areas of my house (bedrooms are 3K or 2.7K). Walls are BM Oxford white, cabinets and ceilings are BM Chantilly lace. My kitchen is open to the living /dining space, and has a flat 8’ ceiling, can size 4”. I love the 4K in the kitchen-rarely use the dimmer. The dining/living space is vaulted, uses 6” cans, same 4K looks too bright-always on dim, if they are on. Is it the can size? Wall color-oxford tends to look more gray? Vault? I was going to order 3k fixtures, with a gimbal, but not sure if it will clash with the kitchen. I wanted 3.5K but the manufacturer doesn’t make that in the same fixture. I don’t know think I can mix-match can/light...can I? Or maybe just change paint color. At the time we were building it was too much to make paint color decisions and I think I’m ready to move on from all white walls in the living areas! Thanks for any insight!

We are considering Haydon. In your pic here it shows gray. We are installing warm white cabinets on the perimeter and our island & bar are a dark espresso. Here’s pics of the sample with our cabinet colors.

Nope. Too much bother when I have a lot of pots. It looks kinda stupid too. And when it corrodes with watering and time, the slugs just go right over it. Sluggo works for me. Put your pots on something to raise them from the surface, and put a little of Sluggo under the pot to lure the critters where they will eat it and leave to die elsewhere. You won't see snail shells, but you know you are successful because there will be NO snail/slug damage (or slime marks up the pots. ) That is a GOOD thing. -Babka
