Top load, non-HE, warm rinse, large capacity Whirlpool washer?
Comments (4)Not many machines nowadays provide a warm rinse choice. I suspect that the majority of machines that do offer it do so via ATC and reduce the warm rinse to a low target temperature such as 75°F. I have a 10-years-old Kenmore 90 toploader with three ATC choices on the temp control. Warm/Warm is labeled as 100°F wash / 75°F rinse. ATC Cold/Cold is labeled 70°F. That was 10 years ago when ATC was an option rather than an energy mandate. I've heard that Speed Queen agitator toploaders don't have ATC, but I don't have experience using one to confirm it. Sandy, the WTW5300VW toploader you had selected does not offer a warm rinse per the online descriptions I found. It has four wash temps (cold, cool, warm, hot) but rinses are all cold. The cool and hot wash temps are likely ATC, if not also the warm....See MoreNew LG top load washer at Best Buy
Comments (4)Alex, a good friend of mine just bought a Maytag Bravo washer with the internal water heater. She says it definitely boosts the water temp, and she is very happy with the washer. This is her first HE washer and she considered buying a FL, but saw my Bravos one day and liked it so well, she ended up buying (a newer) one herself. She's been calling me every few days to rave about it, LOL....See MoreAre Top Loading HE Washers Problematic?
Comments (4)Depends on who you talk to. I have read a lot of people complain about top load HE washers. Some love them. Personally I would totally by a front loader over any HE top loader. The clothes just don't move much at all in top load HE washers. Watch them on Youtube. I think there are a few manufactures that allow you to switch door position, I know Electrolux does for sure (on washer and dryer). Some allow only the dryer to change door position. I would say noise levels are about the same....See MoreIntroducing...Frigidaire Top Loading Washers (HE)
Comments (7)We usually don't get the good stuff in the US, or if we do, it arrives almost a year after the rest of the world gets it. GE had a recirculating water thing like that for a long time - it even ran the recycled water spray through a filter - but don't think the new ones still use that design. I know the filter is gone - it had to be removed and replaced each time the washer was used and I doubt that was popular with customers. Haven't had time to look through the Electrolux TL manual but notice it too says nothing about crucial items like spin speeds and water temperatures....See MoreHouseMan2
