Right now, I have mine stored in round Tupperware® containers...remember the bright green ones? Yup, that's what I've got! I've been thinking of getting square containers so they will fit better in the pantry (or drawer, if I decided to put them in a drawer in my baking center).

I try not to stack them, but if needed, I will. [I'm still in the construction phase, so we'll see how everything fits when the pantry's done!]

Personally, I think using the Tupperware modular mates like you are using is the best way to store things. I put virtually everything I can in TW. Everything stacks together nicely, and there is no wasted space.

My pantry cupboard is counter depth, so I can put a set of the #5 super ovals in the back with rice, pastas, etc., in them, and then fill in the front with various rectangulars, mini rectangulars and regular ovals. I use the modular mates spice containers for all my spices. I have about 30 of them.

I have some pictures, but I'm not sure how to post them. If you'd like to see them, let me know, and I'll try to figure it out.

I may be the lone dissenter, but I still keep my flour and sugar in canisters on the counter.

Not sure if that will change with the new kitchen or not, but that's always how I do it. Usually I line the sugar canister with a zippy bag since I don't use it as much but flour I use constantly so I've never had an issue with spoilage.

That is better than I do. For the moment (appart from the odd exception) my dry goods go straight into the pantry in the packet from the store.

I would love, after the renovation, to have cupboards (or rather drawers) with matching storage containers, but deep down I know it will never happen. With three young children it is all I can manage to actually get them from the bags into the cupboard.

thanks everyone! I think I will go ahead and order the Tupperware Modular Mates. I loved them and I think they will be the best storage system for me.

I'm worse. I've been sticking my bags of sugar/flour into gallon Ziplocks and shoving them in the cabinets.

Here are my modular mates! And hest88, ziplock bags may work for you, but my organizational-anal self is hyperventilating at the thought of doing that!!!

There is a piece of wood cut to the width of the cabinet to raise the back containers up so the labels can be read.

This cupboard is counter depth, so there is the row of super oval MM's behind these rectangular ones.

This is an upper cabinet, so the rectangular MM's fit exactly the depth.

And yes, they are on sale til January 25th... my niece is a TW manager.

OOOh...I love it Chedanami! I am going to order tomorrow. Funny thing is I used to be a manager and had the
tupper-van! It was a red chevy lumina. And, yes, I have to get the labels.

Since they are on sale, I'm in the process of organizing the cabinets surrounding my computer/bill paying area too... you know, the ink cartridges, CD's, charging cords and of course the bills!

I made the labels with a Brother label maker. I'd put labels on everything, but I think my hubby might think that was a bit extreme!
