Have to share fun, easy, fast gifty scarf pattern!

I wanted to quick-knit something for my Mom's regular care-givers at her nursing home for Christmas and came upon these gorgeous yarn combinations. I then hauled out my large needles and knit up a few swatches until I got it right....WOW! SOOOOooo, sophisticated! So easy!!!

Here are the yarn combos:

LionBrand Fun Fur and Paton's coordination 'Brilliant' yarn

Sandstone ~ Green Glitter (a gorgeous soft sage combo!)

Champagne ~ Gold Glow

Ivory ~ Crystal Cream

White ~ White Twinkle

The Brilliant Paton's yarns have a wee silver thread running through it, and it just hints of a glimmer under the fun-fur!!

Needles: US13

Scarf: Cast on 15sts and knit to the end of the fun fur!

You'll have lots of Brilliant left if you want to fringe it!

Also: SLIP every 1st st for a nice soft edge!

There's also a black combination as well as a brown in those yarns that would just look scrumptious!

I have used a Champagne Fun Fur with black Mohair and it looked just like Fur!! Bet that would be a nice combo for this scarf, too!!

Anyway...I just had to share! The length give a "coat scarf"...long enough to tuck into a winter coat! I'm pinnning a glittery Avon "Snowflake" pin (4.99CDN) on each one before wrapping! And use those Michael's coupons for your yarns! ;-D

Hope you enjoy this...just had to share, they're so scrumptious!!
