How to disinfect a butcher block board at day's end?

I did a search on this topic using the Forum engine, and while there was lots of information on OILING butcher block, there wasn't anything on DISINFECTING it. I want to have a butcher block board sitting on my planned marble prep counter next to the prep sink. It will be too large and too heavy to drag to the cleanup sink on a regular basis.

I know butcher block is supposed to be antibacterial in its own right, but it seems that I ought to do something more positive to insure that it is safe to use the next day. What do Kitchen Forum folks do to disinfect large boards or cutting counters at the end of the day?
