mine is from sonoma tile. its from the sonoma stone collection. i am just about positive that its crema marfil. i find it easy to take care of. its not as porous as some of the others in the natural stone collection. and, its sealed.

Thank ladies, Teppy your backsplash reads a bit of gold in it. Is this the case? I need something with a bit of gold to go with my cabinets and granite.

We have honed crema marfil and we love it. We've had it for 5 years and other than a few oil stain spots, there are no stains from foods like tomato sauce. But I usually use the front burners and infrequently use the back ones.

i would say its more on the pink side like ovenbirds looks in the photo above. here is another pic where i think the white balance is better since the green on the walls looks right to me. it does not show a whole lot of the tiles, but what you can see is accurate.

Bixa, I would love to show you pics of my polished Crema Marfil backsplash, but I cannot figure out how to post here, even though I have spent literally hours trying to!

I can tell you that I really love it. It's in a brick pattern like the post above, and there's no pink in mine.
