The stacked stone looks to have pink undertones, and the granite yellow. I think it may be my crappy phone camera, in person I don't see the pink undertones, I will try and get some better pics with my dslr. Maybe you are seeing something I don't. Plus the clash of styles of a very traditional kitchen with a rustic stone tile I totally understand undertones and don't really see a pink undertone, but I will try and get some better pics. The samples I have are so small I may just not see the undertone as well as you do. Can you suggest a style tile that may look better? I wouldn't do any accent with those but be forewarned that's going to be a pill to keep clean. I've looked around at several tile places and haven't found anything I like yet. I saw Sonoma tiles in Bossy Grey, but I'm in Canada. I haven't decided on paint because I'd like to get the back splash done first. I'd appreciate looking at your kitchens for inspiration. Pinterest doesn't allow me to interact as well as Houzz does! Thanks Crystalpea That is an interesting tile/back splash! What is it called... What is the Granite slab called? I was looking at Daltile subway tile in a biscuit color. Very simple... I don't think I can go with a big pattern as I really will not have much back splash area. Will definitely go up around window and take the corner shelfs out and paneling. Once I get the counter in than will get a better idea of back splash but it will be very simple subway or solid color no pattern...
