Hi all. I'm new, but I've been lurking for awhile. I am soooo over my orange oak cabinets. They are about 17 years old, but still in pretty good shape. I have seen some pretty inspiring before/after pictures on here, and would really like to paint them. I love the cream/antiqued look, but I'm afraid the cabinets would then blend into the walls too much.

What do you all think? I've also seen a yellow/antiqued cabinet on here somewhere, but I can't find it now. My floor plan is very open, so I can't repaint the kitchen without repainting the family room, and I'm not doing that!

I would love to see any before/after pictures or hear any ideas you may have. Thanks! (having trouble loading pictures)
