I grabbed the red sweatshirt I had on for only an hour or so yesterday, and later remembered that I was supposed to be wearing it, and remembering all those fighting cancer.

Are you still wearing RED on Thursdays?

I have one that I wear every Thursday. It has three cats on it and it says "He will keep in perfect peace those who trust in Him." I have had this shirt a long time, and just find it so appropriate to wear on Thursday. I also wear a red shirt on Fridays because I had heard that we should wear red, white and blue to show people that we still support our flag. Hope I don't get in trouble for this, but it is what I wear.

Will do! I got this email and thought worth passing on. Cleaning for a Reason If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along. http://www.cleaningforareason.org/

I thought red was for heart health? Guess it works for cancer, too. I lost my sister to ovarian cancer. Unfortunately I don't have anything red, but maybe I can find some red lipstick.

You sound mighty dashing OJ.

Thanks for the reminder...will get dressed soon; but since it is pouring outside today, I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere. Winter rains (and snow all around us) have arrived.

Moni, I do have my red on.
Not more than an hour ago I got an email that a former co-worker passed away today from cancer.
He retired in October. Nobody even knew he was sick.
So sad.

Socks are red white & blue. Sweatshirt has red yarn on it, and I am wearing a red bracelet that I finished making last night. Prayers were said this morning for my friends and family fighting cancer, and will be again tonight.
