I checked 5 Hershey's Cookbooks for a recipe and didn't find one, then I remembered my mother's Peanut Butter Fudge recipe had cocoa in it. Peanut Butter Fudge 2 c. sugar 2 T. flour pinch salt 5 T. peanut butter 1/2 c. milk 3 T. cocoa 1 t. vanilla Mix all in saucepan except peanut butter. Bring to boil over very low flame, then boil vigorously for 2-3 minutes. Remove and add peanut butter, beat until thick. Pour in greased 9x9 inch pan. Cool. When I taught home ec, this is the recipe we used and it's the only recipe for brownies I ever use. Brownies 1 stick butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 eggs 2 HEAPING TBl cocoa 1 tsp vanilla. Melt butter in a square pyrex baking dish Sift dry ingredients Mix eggs, butter, dry ingredients bake 350 18 minutes You don't test them with a toothpick as these are more fudgie than cake like Cool completely and cut with a plastic knife I sometimes make a glaze with 1/2 c powdered sugar, 1 Tbl softened buter, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1-2 tsp milk

Joe you are E-V-I-L I may just have to make this for Hannukah (1) What kind of cocoa, dutch or regular? (2) I've never bought a can of cherry/apple/etc. pie filling. Do you think the Trader Joe's jar of morello cherries would sub? (3) Your instructions say to mix in the sour cream, do you mean mascarpone?

For party-music50: Here's white chili with my rendition: 1 can chicken broth 1Tbl olive oil 2 boneless chicken breast, chopped ****I buy rotissorie chicken and use breast only shredded. Works great! I like mine shredded vs chopped 1/4 cup or more chopped onion 1 4 oz can green chiles, chopped ***I puree mine with my hand blender WITH juice 1 19 oz can navy beans, undrained 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp cilantro ***I use instead 2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp oregano 1/8 tsp red pepper Saute chicken and onions 4-5 minutes in olive oil **If using rotissorie, saute onions only till translucent Stir in spices, broth, simmer about 15 minutes, then add beans and shredded chicken and simmer 5 more minutes, to get the flavors blended. We love it topped with fritos, shredded cheese, and a dollop of sour cream
