Engineered wood floor, Bella Cera, Chocolate Cherry?? Anyone?

Note: I am cross posting this in kitchens and flooring.

I am embarrassed and ashamed to admit, that I still have not got new flooring to replace my cork. Besides normal everyday life getting in the way - my chronic back issue (read PAIN) has been giving me H-E - double toothpicks. :(

That said... here's where we are at: After perusing the internet for what seems like (and almost is!) an eternity - I am exhausted. It's been especially hard because we are NOT DIY'ers, and we have absolutely NO experience with any kind of floor. (Except for a bad bad experience with a cork floor, as many of you already know).

I called out 'the professionals' and here's what they're recommending and have given us a bid on:

Prefinished Wood Materials & Installation

Wood: Bella Cera

Style: Chocolate Cherry

Size:4 3/4

Rooms: Entry, Hall, Dining, Kitchen

482sq ft. $7.98/sq ft inlcluding installation = $3,846.36

Nosing Materials 3 @ $35.00ea = $105.00

Create Stair Risers Out Of Flooring Materials 1 @ $150.00 = $150.00

Wood Vent To Match Flooring - Size: 4x12m (1) @ $75.00 = $75.00

Carpet Tucks In (3) Bedrooms = $125.00

Drumroll please..... Grand total = $4,301.36

This is for a brand called Bella Cera, it's for engineered 9/16 hardwood (maple), in a color called Chocolate Cherry.

I am going to leave it at that, and ask you please.....

What's your opinion on the cost? (Is it a steal, is it fair, is it outrageous?)

Are you familiar with the manufacturer?

If you are familiar with this floor, do you have any pros or cons to tell me about?

Is Bella Cera the same company as Bella Wood?

Our household consists of a family of 4.

1 husband, 1 wife, a 15 year old dog (30#), and a kitty (she's not fat, she's fluffy @ around 10#).

Thank you *so much* for any input you may have.
