Hi Dani, and welcome! I'm in SE WI, just west of Sturtevant (west of Racine.) Where are you located, if you don't mind my asking? I've been viewing this forum for a couple of years now, but still consider myself an on-going learner, since so many people here know so much more than I do, esp. concerning hybridizing. There's no end to this addiction. I've told myself many times, I'm buying NO MORE new DLs unless I replace some old ones. Ha! That never works, because the people here keep posting more and more beautiful pics, and I say, "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT ONE!" So, I have no choice but to dig up more sod! (less grass to mow, more DLs to enjoy!) To post a photo here, you need to first upload your photos to a free image hosting site. Many people here use Photobucket, as I do. You can then post your pictures from that site to the GW forums. Let us know if you want help setting that up. I have a wish list with several hundred varieties, that I havbe to narrow down to 50, plus I have some seeds coming from the lily auction, that I have no idea where I'm going to put! Ours was utterly quiet, although not unpleasant :). Both kids were off doing their own NYE celebration so the house was nice and calm. We ate dinner, chatted, then he went to sleep early and I read for awhile. Boring? Maybe but also a moment to cherish being secure in our lives and with so much for which to be grateful. I've been working on part of the pantry. One of the sections with doors then I may tackle the open shelves. I have a bunch of boxes on my counter of pudding and pancake mix that will outdate soon, so we have to eat them! I also threw a bunch of stuff away or on the compost pile depending on what it was. What was I thinking! That is the problem with an old pantry with tall shelves that I can't see to the back of. So far on a lower shelf the extra spice section, nut butters and cereal is all nice and organized (most of my spices are near the stove). And the area where all these mixes were is empty while I decide what to put back in and how to keep track when i can barely see. I'm considering putting my roasting pan up there and maybe my pressure cooker because I use them only a few times a year. Then I could put mixes and baking supplies like cocoa in more accessible cupboards in the kitchen. (I have only lower cupboards in the kitchen.) The shelf above these that I've been working on has cook books I've been keeping for sentimental value, but haven't looked at in the 7 years since I moved them and things like matches and muffin tin papers. I need to buy another cute stool to keep in the pantry because my dh took the one I had in there to the cellar because it is just the right height for one of his projects. What do other people keep on high invisible shelves? Kathy

I wonder if you will see this 5 years later. My cat who is 3yrs old has been doing the same exact thing as you mentioned. I googled it and found your post. Ironically it is also with Fancy Feast. Salmon and Shrimp... Her and her sister eat dry food maining but I give them FFeast here and there. She usually devours it but the last few times she meows for it, dives in to the plate, eats a little then darts away from the plate like something scared her. Then she runs around the house like she just ate a bag of cat nip dives into a box and starts to claw it to shreds. When I call to her and say it's ok, whats wrong she starts to lick herself and clams down. A few minutes later she will go back and finish it... She eats dry food with no issues so I dont think it's her teeth.. They are both indoor cats. It is almost like she gets wild because it's fish? Like a hunt feeling.. I read all of these comments and I will have her teeth checked. But wanting to ask if you ever determined the issue? Did it stop? Was it her teeth? I am going to try a different can of wet food, see if she does it with that as well. It was just very interesting that your story is so similar even down to the type and flavor of cat food...
