Deanna, My thoughts would be that you have nothing to worry about. It is just the process of the TP roll composting and breaking down. My one and only worry when I do the TP rolls is not to leave any portion of it showing above the soil line when planting since it will 'wick' moisture away from the roots of the plant.

Yeah. Maybe leverage isn't the right word. If you pulled on the far one, it would hit the center bar, so it wouldn't come off. But the close one doesn't have anything to hit. Well, there is that little lip, but I guess it depends on how hard you tug. ;-) I don't have one of course, so I don't know that would happen, but that's the only possible problem I could think of. I wanted to get the one sided kind for my DS who won't put on a roll, so I was looking these up a few weeks ago. I remember someone mentioning that you needed to hang it where you would pull against the attached side. If I had time I'd try to locate the thread. I did buy the one sided one, but it's not up yet, so no feedback...

It's an apartment, everything must be stupid proof. If a resident can reach the water heater, liability demands t&p discharge be concealed so that some fool or kid can't trip valve to get scalded. The condensates must go into sewer so they wind up in common line at some point by default. A few jursdictions still alow t&p discharge into pan but apartment house insurers still want discharge concealed.

It’s hard for me to tell. I would update the color of your walls and carry the color up through the ceiling for a proper Chalet look. My dining room has the beams and similar style and I used BM cashmere grey which is really not grey but a light calm green. The yellow wall color is too much for your space. I like the white cabinets but I’m not crazy about the island as it makes the kitchen smaller than it is. So to answer your question, loose the yellow wall color and I think our problem with the cabinet color will be solved.
