Here is one company with a nice looking quartersawn engineered click floor (unfinished). It is fairly expensive, but good engineered flooring generally is.

Owens is another well regarded brand of engineered unfinished flooring.

Have you looked at the Kahrs brand? They have a line called Castle and Cottage Collection that seems to fit your description. Instead of the hand scraped they have a wire-brushed, distressed look which I think would be nicer than the hand scraped look. It isn't cheap!

I think Kahrs is one of the best Engineered woods out there! It is Swedish made.

I checked out the Launstein website. Although it will require on-site finishing, it does fit my list of criteria. Thank you for the suggestion! I also checked out the Owens; although you don't need to glue the planks together, it sounds like you need to use their special Plankloc underlayment which the planks then adhere to.

I love the Kahrs Castle and Cottage line, but I checked their website and unfortunately, none of the products in that line have the Woodloc feature. I wish Kahrs had more of their product line with the Woodloc feature :-(.

As a follow-up, we went with Kahrs and used a 2-strip product from their Original Collection (Houston, with the Woodloc feature). We are installing it ourselves and there is definitely a learning curve. It's a breeze when you're working in the middle of the room, but working around cabinets, doorways, casings and the last row in a room, whew, it can be difficult.
The photo below shows our progress to date. We still have a hallway and 2 BRs to do.
It is definitely a very well-engineered product. We have yet to run into a defective board. Everything has clicked together perfectly. I do find however, that it does tend to chip and dent rather easily, so you have to be careful and "gentle" (in the photo you'll see we've covered the flooring with red rosin paper as we go along).
Finally, I can't believe how many people have commented on the flooring. It gets more rave reviews than anything else in the house.

Very nice... are you using that big Kahrs tap block? I've never had any problems at all with chipping.

Did not think we would be interested in engineered flooring, but have definitely changed our minds. We live in Mississippi, where humidity is horrid, so engineered definitely fits the bill. My husband had to travel to Georgia on business recently and made a point to stop in at Authentic Pine Floors. They were so very helpful (as they are on the phone - I've called several times.) The engineered handscraped look is absolutely beautiful. Material costs are approximately $9 sf, but installation charges will be much less than going with solid, since there's no sanding or staining involved. Now OUR last decision is what to go with in the kitchen - continue with the engineered or go with something like cork?
