any one grown Snow Carpet?
Comments (3)I grow Snow carpet, and Im surprised that you found it at Home Depot! I would love to find more, very few vendors online have carried it. Guess I need to check out my HD. Mine have never gotten taller than 7" and they have a mounding habit. They are very easy care. Diana PS They are not part of the Rose Carpet series...See Morelowes carpet
Comments (8)I agree...My store has carpeted 3 managers of Lowes homes and they receive an additional 10% as an employee. We normally destroy Lowes on price and service. Lowes lives off of their Lowes credit..not price in my mind. They struggle to give you sound advice, knowledge, or interior design suggestions. Lowes is good for many things...but flooring is not one of them. I can tell you many reasons why I feel a good retail store is better. Most off, is the installers....they go down a list and whomever is up gets the job. Let me tell you that flooring install is like any other trade. Certain installers are better at one product than others.. I have master installers in Berbers that normal crews can't touch. Same with Vinyl. Same with hardwood...same with short cut piles.. We have crews that use serpentine edges on multi colors or tome on tones with no pattern designs that makes that seam invisible. There are many carpet crew, but few carpet crews are carpenters. laminates and hardwoods should be installed by a crew that is talented in carpentry. And then there's tile..a whole different animal...I have crews apply for work and I ask them..What are you good at.. and they say.. Everything....I think to myself...out..no way.. Havent seen one yet that can do it all.. I have about 15 crews installing daily and its a good store's job to try to put the right crews on the right jobs... Notice I said try as we make mistakes too. The key is how do you handle a cobbed up job... I read about suits here and all sorts of nightmares...15 years in flooring business and never been sued yet...we have a claims department to where we have a girl that part of her duties is to handle complaints and assure customer satisfaction. We keep her knowledge limited on flooring so she can look at things through customers eyes.Lowes don't even come close to any of this. I am venting a little as they get such a descent % of flooring business and if people only knew.. Anyway..good luck to all.....See MoreCarpet stair treads with bullnose - anyone have these?
