Trying to decide between Happy Feet flooring or Core Tec Plus

I talked with the salesman about the door again today and he thinks the white will match - our trim is SW Arctic White and he says he thinks it will be a match for the Provia white (well, I don't know he knows this, but he seemed confident). So I'm definitely leaning towards the white door. I also received an initial sketch of what the addition will look like. It is 10'x12'. Also there will be two windows on both sides of the corner, not one like shown. One path here leads to the gate in the fence and the street (it is a corner lot) and the other one leads to the garage. We will probably work a small patio into this, but just to explain why there are two sidewalks, and that moving them would be difficult. We were really leaning towards the dentil shelf (the extra trim on the door) because it looks nice, but I know our house isn't craftsman, so you really have me rethinking that!

And this is the perfect example why I take what CR says with a large grain of salt. That model is still built the same way as old school Whirlpools and Kenmores (Kenmores were built by Whirlpool) of the 70's and 80's were built. How do I know? I helped my friend install his, and couldn't help popping the hood to see how it's built inside. Probably cheaper gauge metal, and maybe a cheaper heating element, but there's nothing fancy to go wrong in this dryer. And my friend loves it much better than the 12 year old Samsung it replaced. Maybe the models that got better ratings had more cycles, options and bells and whistles, which seems to be important for a large portion of the population, but And as for "ease of operation" and all subjective ratings, well, you can't get more easy to operate than this machine: Open door, put damp clothes in, close door, set timer for desired dry time, set desired temperature. Ding! Open door, retrieve clothes, close door. I doubt any CR's highly recommended models will still be around, drying clothes 45 years from now, let alone 20 years from now.

I hope the replacement arched window in the foyer is being replace with one much larger because that skinny little window doesn't work with your house. If the window stays small, then you at the very least have to mount the shutters the correct way. Yours are up backwareds. I would select a fixture where you cannot see the bulb. They are ofen not atrtactive and create glare. I hope you selected a nice siding. White windows and shutters provide a unique appearance for a home.
