I agree, Diana. I don't want to sound like the 'Forum Police' or overly prissy, but there are some issues here about posting huge numbers of honking big photos in a single Discussion thread, ignoring the Gallery for multiple pics. I'm guilty, too, despite knowing what it's like to be on dialup and sit and wait forever for posts to load that are byte-heavy. I really like the way that Webshots makes a nice sized pic to paste in a post that is clickable to see a bigger version in Webshots' album. I think this is probably the sizez that works well in a blog. I like thumbnail links from Photobucket -- you don't see many of those any more. Photobucket also makes a thumbnail link to a whole album. Picasa gives some nice options about clickable photos in several sizes and album links. There are other good host sites; these are the ones I know. Nell

It used to be that when you clicked on "Edit" of "My Page" there was a box at the very bottom that said 'Home Page' and you could put a link to your site such as a blog or home page. A friend had made a home page for me with a few pictures etc. which is linked above so when "My Page" was clicked you had the option to click on the 'Home Page' or blog of that person, but now there is no such option on my "My Page". You can still put it on the "Optional Link URL" box, but as you say that takes a little time. Just wondering if the 'Home Page' option on "My Page" had disappeared for everyone. Click the 'Edit' button on your "My Page" to see.

Thanks Raven. I don't think this is a windows resizing issue (although that could be a troubling feature worth turning off as well). The last article you linked had this in it - which might be what I"m experiencing: "But I have another problem, how do you turn off the blue grids when it comes to internet explorer/firefox? It snaps into small grids when i move them to the edge!" But that was one of the last posts - and nobody addressed a solution. It's not the window shrinking in half. It's an open tab/web page - shrinking to maybe 1/6 of the page or less - and it might be as though it was being shrunk into a rectangle in a grid. Interesting to read how many annoying features people have discovered in Windows 7 - that are set by default. I'm still on XP - so I won't know this stuff if my daughter runs into trouble. Thanks. Lynn.

Used to use notepad here but I have found webbuilder 2006 to be a great programmers tool simply for its ability to show me instantly through my local dev sever the product I am making, whether that be xhtml or server side scripting. It also is great for having line numbers and color codes in the code which makes tracking down errors a breeze. It has full CSS/CSS2 support as well, with full tracking of requireds, includes, classes, fucntions, and variables.
