Flooding under laminate flooring...will it dry underneath?

Hi there,

We had some water flood onto the laminate floor in our guest house and it got under some of the flooring, which is now raised up at the seams. I know this will not go away, but what I want to know is whether or not the water underneath (between the bottom of the laminate and the underlayment) will evaporate. We live in an extremely hot, very dry climate and we've got the windows open in there. We're thinking we might just leave the flooring as is if we are not going to get mold. My husband doesn't think it will mold in this climate. Today, for example, it hit 110 and the humidity was around 15%. Still, I am concerned, as it is water between two layers of plastic. Would love to hear some knowledgeable opinions. Thank you.
