I think it really depends on your preference as far as patio furniture goes. We really wanted wood furniture, and wanted something that would age well with little or no maintenance, and finally went with teak furniture from Wood Classics. We saved some money by ordering it in pieces and putting it together ourselves (my dh actually really enjoyed the project) and also by picking it up at their factory (only an hour or so away). We've had it a year and it has started to weather to a light tan - eventually it will turn a greyish and that's the look we wanted so it works for us. Don't have to cover it and will probably spray it down with their recommended deck cleaner in a few weeks, that is about it for maintenance. We've been extremely pleased with the company and with the quality of their product, FWIW. For the grill, I looked into a bunch and finally went with the Weber Genesis Gold, which comes in either a liquid propane or a natural gas model. Again, only had it about a year, but have been very pleased. Very sturdy and very uniform cooking. Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed that most of the cooking resources rate the Webers very highly, whereas the Consumer Reports type mags like them but rate less expensive ones more highly (or at least did last year). We cook a lot and are somewhat particular, so I finally went with the Weber and wouldn't change the decision. Hope that helps! Here is a link that might be useful: Wood Classics

I'm so excited to see this! We have seriously been considering the Verano sofa and chairs for our new house. My only hesitation is that we aren't close to a store and I'm nervous to buy without seeing/sitting on it. Does anyone have experience with this sofa?

Okay, first of all, dyhgarden, you're not a pain at all! The whole point of these forums is to be educated by others and educate each other based on our knowledge and experience. Knocking heads, so to speak. Shouldn't quit until you've gotten your answer or realize an answer isn't forthcoming. (btw, not sure you noticed this on the "favorite room" thread, but you and I have the same paneling in our LRs!) Oaktown, that is really smart. I've wondered if that is the case, that if you keep looking at an item, eventually they'll send you a discount of some kind to get you to buy it. I guess you've actually experienced it. Never thought to put something in the cart and let it sit there, though. Smart! But, I'm off the C&B items now. IMO never buy things in haste and then try to work around them because usuallly you save nothing get a good plan of all the furniture you need then go shopping . My bet this is Covid driven sale / promo and to start a design with dining chairs seems all wrong to me unless those chairs ar something awesome and my bet not at C&B.
