thanx sierra :) i had never seen this before. i couldnt cull the babies per se, but i had no qualms about putting them in with the bigger fish. Slowly mother nature is culling them. As the bigger fish get bigger, the population of small fish gets smaller. I can say that i dont plan on breeding anymore bettas for a very long time, it has been a PITA... i despise microworms now lol Next time i breed anything they will have to be mature in less than 6 months... My apistogramma panduro pair seem to be i a lovin kind of mood these days, i wouldnt be surprised to see fry in a week or so.. Thank you for letting me know its a genetic defect and not my fault for feeding them food that was too big.

Yeah if you have the short and fat kind we can do a trade for seeds if you wish. I have tons of seeds saved and I only grew this variety this year so no chance of cross pollination. These are very nice hot peppers. I wouldn't say they are super hot but I prefer them over the other Fruscent varieties like Tobasco.

I always hated getting that one back x-ray with the film. It always hurt. But I got through it. Now, they have digital x-rays. There is no film. It's a big plastic thing that has no give to it and hurts like heck. This thing made me cry. It was so painful. I could not even do it. And they kept trying and trying and it was cutting the bottom of my mouth. They made me feel really stupid and were very threatening because they said, well your insurance isn't going to cover it unless you take this x-ray. So here I am in the car crying and trying to find out if anybody else has this problem. Of course I should know by now that if I have a problem a lot of people have a problem. It's never just me. Has anyone experienced this digital x-ray bs? How do I get through this? I asked for a smaller one. they said they didn't have one. They only had one size. I said how can that be when everyone has different sized mouths?

Well, guess who came BOUNDING down the stairs this morning? And then FLEW up them later today? And in between has been very interested in treats, outside noises, and pestering for affection??? Mr. Mopey! Yeah!!! He seems to be feeling all better. Yesterday we had workers at the house so we put him in his crate. He was in there for 4 or 5 hours, very quiet. Once he was let out, however, he was bursting with energy. He came flying down the stairs, barking at the workers (who were now gone). He was jumping on us for attention and dancing when it was time to eat. It was like we put one dog into the crate, and a few hours later a different one came out. I still have no idea what was wrong with the dog, but he appears to be his old self. He has been perfuming the air with the most noxious odors today, so maybe he had some stomach problems??? Although... his stools did look fine and his abdominal x-ray showed nothing - so, who knows??? I just wanted to thank everyone again for their suggestions and help. I really appreciate it. Nicole
